But the companies should only be asking for your social security number and date or birth AFTER a position has been offered and usually for a background and credit check.  This is not a legitimate company in anyway.

I received a call from 954-278-8718.
The man ID'd himself as R. Joyner, stated he saw my resume on a job site  and had a position that fit my profile, he left his number, and extension and then said he would also email me.

I replied to the email, that since he saw my resume on the job site, he had my permission to submit it...LOL...I didn't bother calling because his number wasn't listed. I googled it, and nothing came up...I agree - likely a scam. Going with my gut, not calling them at all.

I want to get your comments straight; are you saying all unemployed people are uneducated or stupid? I have tried listened to messages from this company but I have to delete them because I can't understand a word they're saying, and they are "THE RECRUITERS". Are they all uneducated as well?
Lastly, I would never give up my social security number unless I was at the company doing the paperwork that goes along with being hired. Your responses are very unprofessional, as a matter fact I'm going to email the higher ups and  copy/paste the entire conversation.

Ignorance lies upon the unknown or misled. Insulting a legitimate business that finds work for the unemployed is ignorant behavior. Your lack of response is a choice to not find an opportunity, thats fine, it's your loss. I hope that I am blessed with a job, for i have employed over 100 people this year alone. I consider this a service too the community at large. I consider it a disservice when people degrade, quality legitimate business with remarks that are not true. Your lack of research before speaking about a company that helps people become employed is ignorant in itself. Tip of advise, the world is frequently an unkind place.

Folks, this is a legit recruiting firm. You see in order to get employed, here in the United States, legaly, you need to be a citizen. The government provides several ways for individuals to prove to employers that they are legaly able to work in the United States. For us citizens we are provided with our S.S. number and our DOB. Others are provided with Green Cards and Visas to provide as proof of work ability. Otherwise you are hiring Illegals which is fround upon. It is really not rocket science, anyone who fail to understands this employment process is probably still walking up to places and asking for employment applications.

You know it's really pretty sick now a days when jerks like this try to scam people who are already hurting inside over the fact that they can not find a job and pay their bills... people like this really should be thrown into jail and left to rot!

This is a valid phone call.  It is from a accounting/finance/tax recruiting firm:  GDKN Corp, 1779 N University Dr., Suite 102, Pembroke Pines, FL  33024.  There main phone number is 954-985-6650; fax 954-985-6652.  (I received both a phone call/voicemail and an email from their "Customer & Client Liaison").  So if you have a resume on the web to find a job, you may want to call this number back....
