I recieved a call and it was a man I answered "hello" and he answered " Hi melissa! What are you doing?" and I asked who it was and he asked if I was being a good girl and I again asked who it was and he said "thats how I like my women" and hung up

Got called today from someone claiming they were special-t travel and that I had won a free cruise vacation 18 months ago from my timeshare company (wrong timeshare company - I don't own the property mentioned) or from the timeshare exchange company. Telephone call ID showed caller ID Nathaniel Brown. I am on national do not call list. I have reported this special t travel to feds at least once before and will do again now.

Yup just got called by that number! 9562203577.  No one answered my hello then hung up....  I called back and got the message.  "the number you have dialed is not in service"R4T8.  I called & informed the CRTC for investigations!

I am so sick of getting these calls. When you call back the number is disconnected. How can they call us and we can't call them back?? When it someone going to do something about these calls!!!!

I called this number back as I couldn't answer when they called.  When you call it, it says it's out of service.  Definite red flag!

I don't know why people don't screen incoming calls. I just turn the phone volume down and put the caller ID screen where I can see it. Legitimate caller IDs come up on the bottom of the TV anyway (Comcast). Do-not-call list? Hah! I'm from the government and I'm here to help you! I look a number up once in awhile just for amusement. All the same story, a bunch of people bitching.

The call for me from this number was a Jackier from Specialty Travel Services offering me a timeshare vacation.

SCAM...based on what I have read. I do not need this type of service so why are they calling my phone!

I keep getting calls from random numbers and one from 956-220-3577 and they hung up when I answered. Getting so tired of these calls and everytime I answer they hang up. How do I block these numbers so they won't call me again? Thanks.

We get a phone call from this number everyday. We answer the phone and they hang up! When we call it back, it says the number is not in service!

A male from this number left an inappropriate voice message on my answering machine using profanity.

Receiving these annoying calls every day!!! Want to find out what can be done, the caller hangs up the phone immediately after I answer, the phone number is not a working number.  Maybe we should take this to the news!!!!.   I am sure the name and number to these clowns are bogus...

Yes they get ur phone nr from Craigslist. If u advertize on it don't add ur phone nr like i did.

This was a call to my cell phone.  My cell is on the DNC list.  Very tired of repeated random calls that hang up when answered or are from various health care agencies.

Cold Call for Office Relocation.  When I told her to stop reading public databases, she hung-up without saying a word.

I am betting that these people are finding numbers by searching public databases for new (or changed) businesses.

We had decided to register a new business name and LLC about 3 months ago.  When I was filling out the form, I listed the address of my new LLC to an existing building location I have occupied for over ten years but never used for any correspondence.  I also listed a very under-used telephone number which I also had for over ten years as the new entities primary phone number.

Sure enough, that under-used line has lit-up with calls and offers for everything from employee health benefits to this latest temptation - office relocation.  It is absolutely amazing.  We have not published nor even started using the number (or address) in any form and have not advertised it anyway ourselves yet. But the phone for that number is ringing off the hook with tons of junk calls using our new name!

Many of these pests do use our new LLC name and the only place I know it has been listed is at the SBA office in Baltimore.

Hurray!,  now we can look forward to double the amount of annoying calls we will be receiving!!!!!

I just got a call from this number and spoke to a hispanic gentleman.  He told me I had won a gay cruise.  When I told him I wasn't gay he said "It's good, you should try it."  I again said no and he hung up on me.

A message was left on voicemail.  Amidst a lot of static and various noises, a man with a deep voice (or, perhaps, a "smoker lady") said in a very tentative and confused tone, "Uh...He-hello? No?"  I was mildly amused.

First time I got this number. It only rang twice. I didn't answer. I always check out new numbers online before I try to call anybody back.

Mine showed up as Nathanial Brown.

Possibly some guy out there named Nathanial Brown is having his name and number used for spam calling. The call comes from some other name and number, but they have ways of coding the call to have Nathanial Brown and NB's number show up on the caller id. That's to get you to answer, thinking it's an individual. Brown is a common last name. Most of us probably know someone named Brown. So many people will answer. Not me. I'm determined not to answer any call I don't know who they are first.

Wikipedia says: "North American area code 956 is a state of Texas telephone area code for numbers in the Brownsville, McAllen, Laredo and South Padre Island, Texas areas. "

So Spanish seems apt.

They'll have a different number and name tomorrow. Just get a caller ID and don't answer if you don't know them.

NEVER A MESSAGE OR ANYONE ON THE LINE. When I call the number back I get a message in (I think) Spanish.

It happened to me, and I thought it was a friend in Texas so I called back the caller ID and got a Spanish language recorded message, then beeep tones, and then a dial tone. I usually don't pick up unidentifiede number but I did this time.

Called and hung up when I answered. Caller ID said it was a Texas Call.

Internet Phone rate is fix.  Therefore, they don't pay more or less within the US.

I don't take calls from number I don't recognise and asked for them to leave a name or return number for me to call back - they person wouldn't do it

Caller asked for a former employee and then asked for the owner of our business.  When asked to leave a message, the caller declined to leave one

Called yesterday and today.  Today I answered and he said he was selling advertising on a t-shirt for the football team from Thomas Edison High School.  Being that this area code isn't in my area I didn't believe him.

I work at a Police Station and received a call from this number.  As soon as I heard the pause before a foreign voice said "hello", I knew this was some sort of marketing call or scam.  I answered "Police Department" and then they hung up.  Do NOT fall for this stuff, people!
