These phone numbers and e-mails seem to be related to purchase off of sites like kijiji and craigs list. I will post what they say becuase it is generic. This the second time it has happened and it seems to trace back to the same person. They want to purchase your item. They really do not argue about price. But right from the beginning it doesn't make sense.  Unless I am just over cautious. Read the following as I insisted on them using Western Union. They either start their conversation this way or edn it this way. The two e-mail addresses I have had this problem with are

I insisted on PayPal because i'm not with the premises to pay you cash and don't have access to my bank account online as i don't have internet banking and i can't go to the bank due to the nature of my job, but i can pay from my PayPal account, as i have my bank a/c attached to it, i will need you to give me your PayPal email address so i can make the payments asap for the item and please if you don't have PayPal account yet, it is very easy to set up, go to www.paypal.com and get it set up , after you have set it up i will only need the e-mail address you use for registration with PayPal so as to put the money through

I really hope people do not fall for this. I am sure in muncton they have good deals on appliances. This second guys has ads on kijiji. So be careful. The RCM should be called. I lost a sale due to this.

Goto donotcall.gov and list your number in the do not call registry. If they call after 30 days you can file a complaint.

I keep on getting Calls from an 800 Registry Co. and they dont answer. they call every day

I got a recent call from 956-365-3491 (twice, different dates a month apart), 956-412-0914 (twice on same day), and I think they are also using other area codes and numbers. I do also have several months phone bills that maybe this is harassment.
Have you tried the website www.complaints.com or www.complaintboard.com to see what results you get there.
I contributed to shutting down a company and 3 charged with mutiple federal felonies from that website.

Continuously receiving calls from 800 Registry Co and when you answer no one picks up. No one talks. cannot call back and talk to anyone. Phone number is 956-440-8709

Recievied calls from "800 registry co" for several months now all from 956 412-xxxx exchange.  I suspect they are using spoofed cid #s & are just harmless, brain dead, creatins that need to get a life.  The only solution is to get a cid blocker to block all cals from area code 956 412-XXXX.

Ditto all of the above messages. This is just NUTS. They are costing us untold dollars. This must be brought to a quick halt!

This is from a malicious caller, who will run up your toll free bill relentlessly. They call from a different number each time, to prevent your phone company from blocking them. They hang up as soon as you answer and do not pick up if you call back. This last call came at night, waking me from a sound sleep. AT&T's subsidiary Southwest Bell appears to be providing phone service to these people, although it has been repeatedly told what they are doing and asked to cancel the account. All this conduct appears violate federal law. The FCC has opened a case, but will not take action until more victims complain. You can file a complaint through their web site. Refer to their Case # 11-T00802695-1. It also helps to ask your congressional representatives to follow up with the FCC,

The best thing to do is NOT answer, as I think they are trying to figure out when your home for possible future sales.

Calls from 956-412-0253 and 956-412-0072 and many other 956-412 numbers belong to Southwestern Bell. So call those greedy inconsiderate money grubbing Executives and complain. Do it every day. No, we are not all ringcentral customers. I work for an inbound call center and we have over 1000 toll free numbers. We are getting hit from these people and IT Connect - can't seem to figure out how to make them stop. I guess the FCC and the TX PUC are next

I too have my home number tied to a 800 # and I keep getting calls from 800 registry. I get calls from various 956 area code numbers. The latest one from 956-428-2902. Don't know where to file a complain...

I think I have solved this mystery.  There are dozens (if not hundreds) of companies that sell 800#'s to new customers.  To confirm a # is still active it seems an autodialer is calling the # first before reselling (hence 800 registry.)  This is just my best guess.  My 800# is with Ring Central....maybe they are doing this to their customers....i dunno.   Repsonses appreciated.

We keep getting calls from various 956-412, 428 and 440 numbers.  They all indicate 800 Registry Co and you can't call them back.  They are screwing up our pecentages in evaluating the value of our campaigns.  How do we make them stop?  Any help would be appreciated.

I am having the same problem with "800 Registry Co" calling all hours of the day and night.  I've traced several of the numbers they use to call (all from 956 area code) to Robert McKinney, 326 E. I just received a call from 956-412-0708.  This was at my office where we have different 800 numbers.  I answered and it just hung up.

I have had my 800 number (800.800.0727) for 20+ years!  Why am I getting these nuisance calls when I'm on the National and Colorado BLOCKED CALL List?!
