I just keep hanging up!!!!

Called me a few days ago.  Left no message.  Caller ID: "Unknown Name".  When I called back, I've got the following message: "We are sorry, your call cannot be completed at this dial. Please check the number and dial again. Thank you! " Apparently, this is an invalid number and its caller ID has be tempered.  I am on national DO NOT CALL list.

UH OH! The interest rate on my credit card is about to go up. HA! HA! HA! I don't have any credit cards.

000 is not an area code it's called a prefix.

I clicked thru at one point also to find out what is going on.  The tech I got was very helpful.  said he had not been paid in 3 weeks and was getting pissed.  Said that the "do not call list" is a joke and they have purchased the list and is their best source of valid phone numbers.  Gave a phone number to call back to but it just went off to nowhere.  After talking to him it was a couple months until we got another call. However they have no started again.  I wish I could find the information I got fom him. If I track it down I will psot it here.

It sounds like the "old Rachal" call about lowering your interest rate. Its a scam All they want is your money and/or card numbers. They have been using all kinds of phone numbers over the years. I never answer numbers I don't recognize. I think as fast as the Government shuts them they start back up.

Wife just sent me a text msg stating that she received a call from this number with the same message as J posted Oct 8th, 2011 of an "automated message telling me that my credit card interest rate was about to go up if I didn't contact them immediately.  I pressed 9 to speak to a customer service rep.  A guy with a thick middle-eastern accent told me that he wanted to lower the interest rate for my Visa or MasterCard."
  She hit 9 to tell them that she was on the no-calling list and that we have repeatedly requested to be removed from their calling list and that she believed this call was a scam.  She was told that she was a <rude version of a female dog>, to go <rude version of have intercourse with> a donkey, and then hung up on.

   TOTAL SCAM.  Don't give this number anything.

I asked to be removed. They told me to go and fu@# a donkey. Fu$% American w***e.

They keep calling and I'm on the do not call list. I wish for them to stop calling my phone number.

I too had this phone call and he too called me a m@#^&%f*&^$#! I want to press charges! I too am on the DO NOT CALL Registry! Someone's not doing their job!!!! Why are we on this list if these stupid calls get through!!??!!

Got a call from these a$$holes at 11:30 this morning. Hung up on them. These creeps are crawling out of the woodwork. PLEASE don't answer them, it only encourages their ruthlessness. Maybe if we all hang up they will get the hint and leave us alone.

got a call from this number called back and a gril name lori answerd and said she did not call me but on my caller id is her number she said this happen before.

10/31/2012, received a call from "Bank Monitoring Center" at this phone number. Caller had an accent like someone in India or Pakistan. Others with same accent could be heard in the background. He asked me for 16 digit on front of card, but not expiration or security code. Also asked for 800 number from back of card. Passed me to his supervisor, a man named Steven Evans, who gave me his ID# 5011-107. Probably to instill confidence. His guarantees were 1. rate will be lowered to save $5000 in interest, and 2. rate will be low enough to pay off 3-5 times faster. He spoke of a fee that goes on the card, and the money saved more than pays for it. I searched the phone number while I was still on the phone with him and found this page. Declined his offer, he sounded surprised I wasn't excited, and annoyed I wasn't going to do it. He hung up on me.

I too have been recieving calls from this number, i called my carrier and there are no prefix given with 000 so the very next time they called i answered and worked my way to a representative by acknowledging i was intrested. i then asked what the signing bonus was to use thier service under the premise that i was working with anothet company. when they asked.who i gave them the number for the FTC.

I also hit 9 and was asked if I was interested in their lower interest rate.  I said I actually wanted to be put on their donotcall list and he hung up.  Lots of static and background noise

I'm sure this is from overseas and that's where a lot of these scam calls like this are coming from. I don't think there's anything that can be done other than blocking them like I've done. Instead of hearing a voice they hear probably the worst annoying sound known to man. I just found this number in my blocked call logs. 965 is an invalid area code and 000 is an invalid exchange. Instant red flag, instant block.

I got a call from this number and when I advised them that I was on the Do not call" list they just hung up on me.  I suggest that you contact your StateAttorney General.

I got call today, November 10, 2011 from 965-000-4475. It only rang twice (which tells me it is autocall via a computer and since it ID as "unavailable" and 000 I would never answer such a call anyway. When you do answer should bull$hit calls like these you just do them the favor of letting them know it is a working number.
The US Government should hire peole to track down these a$$holes and cut their phone cord(or some other other thing) off instead of giving tax breaks to the upper 1%.

Caller said they would lower my credit card rate, was automated message.  Number is masked so you can't block it   Received call 10:00 a.m. 11/4/11

got a call from this #.  Did not answer. Message was not left on voicemail.

IT3T3got this call at 11:31 am. Wasn't home. 000 looks really suspicious!

965-000-4475 called my home number and got my voice mail and just left a blurb.  I am sure it is a scam of some kind.
