Got a call from this phone number.

Weird call,seem to be oriental or arab,only understood "how are you this..."

Telemarketing call from Bell, offering me a free cell phone. Probably coming from India or Pakistan. I told him to remove me from their calling list. It sounds like that isn't going to happen.

An answering machine message was left . Did not sound like a telemarketer.

Telemarketer said they were Bell/Shaw telephone. I said remove me from your calling list and hung up. The next day they called again. I was more abrupt hanging up this time. English is rudimentary. Definitely calling from overseas.

Telemarketing, advised they were from Bell and that I won a free cellphone,......then I hung up!!!  English definately not a first language.

Just got one and it's from someone identifying themselves as Bell and that they want to give me a new blackberry for my patronage. I checked with Bell and they said it is not them.

My guess is it's an auto-dialing program used for telemarketers. I heard they use it to check for valid phone numbers, to see who answers.

Just got one right now at 12:29 EST and it is traced back to kuwait of all places??
strange..dead silence of phone!

8.05 am. Vcr. I never answer calls before 8.30 am.  This # on my caller ID

I answered, and there was silence. I said "hello" a few times, and then I heard a click and an automated message say "goodbye", and that was it. Odd.

Kuwait? didnt pick up

Got a call Sunday and didn't know number on Call Display.  Looks recent as others reported late August 2010 Early September.  Ours Sept 12.

Just received a call from them on a landline as well. Didn't pick up.
