you have given a good message to the people of  USA. they may be from either Africa or India or pakistan or afghanistan. dont listen to them and dont pay any money to them . talk in slang language with them if they harasse you.

these people are frauds they kept calling me until i reverse it and kept calling them and not saying anything i did this all day and i told one guy that if he calls my number again i will contiune to harass them like they are doing me.....its been a few days but i have not received anymore calls

I too received a call from 1-970-208-1634, I did not answer the call. I know that this is a scam now. I have been a victim of these calls just recently, now that i am aware. I do not answer my cell phone.
Please FBI catch these people, they are interrupting my day on a daily basis

I have received several calls from The Dept of Law Investigation,,,or at least thats what I think he said.  They have called me with several different numbers...I can't understand what he is saying the accent and the noise is so heavy.
First he said his name was Jason Smith then used a different name...called my husband at his emergecy services job with a foreign number, my husband said not to call him at work anymore, so they called six more times...
I can't get any information or an address on them,,, and they will not speak to a spouse....
I wish they would just stop Calling me....

DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THIS CALL. Its a fraud. They call saying they are a federal agent and there is a lawsuit in your name and unless you setle immediately it will go to court. Totally fake.

I have been recieving these calls for a month now and can't obtain any info from these people, called my local police and they say nothing can be done. Until they do any indentity theft nothing can be done, i have recently changed my phone number because of this and hope this will end this nonsense. I will not stop until this low lifes have been caught. My calls are from Durango, Colorado.

I have been getting the same phone calls! So I called back using a totally fake name and they said the same exact thing. He wouldn't give me a employee number. He told me that to many people call there for him to give out his employee number....?! He told me that he would see me in court but wouldnt give me a court date. Told me to call back later for a court date! Now mind you this is all with a made up name!! He didn't look up the name he didn't ask for me to spell my name as soon as I said it he already knew how much I owed....! Now if That isn't fishy then I don't know what is! Here is a number you can call with your complaints. 1-800-916-6519 or contact your local FBI or 1-800-CALLFBI. Don't give out any information to them. Don't pay them ANYTHING!!! It is a fraud! I am only 21 and they are doing it to me!!!

OMG these people are bad. they keep calling and tell me that me and my husband have 3 counts of fraud on us and that we are going to jail if we dont pay. Funny thing is, is that my husband is in the US army and also  military police man. when i told them that they got all nervous and hung up and when we called back they asked why we was calling and we told them because you called us and they wanted to know are  names and we told them to tell us who we are and they said John Mendoza. hahah its funny thats far from are names. these people need to be STOPPED NOW.

I have had the exact same thing happening to me. This has been going on for 19 months and they don't give up. They are like vultures. I never answer most of the calls. They have even called me at work. I don't know how they got my work number. I do not owe money to anyone and have told them that repeatedly. They have a different story every single time. They can't even say who I owe money to or who is going to sue me. This whole thing  is bogus. I have reported them to the FTC and am planning on going to my local police department. But, nothing seems to help. One person I spoke to said that the FBI is on the case, but they can't do anything until they locate them personally. That is going to be difficult since they are probably in India or Africa. They have used multiple different phone numbers to call me. Most have been from Florida, Chicago, California, and New York. Good luck getting rid of them! I am probably going to have to change my phone number.

OMG!  They have been calling me for weeks now.  I can barely understand the guy and he only hears what he wants to hear.  If you ask him for more information, he will just say, "would you like to settle this in court or out of court, this is a very serious matter".  They are calling my work phone and my cell phone RELENTLESSLY!  They are claiming I did an online pay day loan (which I do from time to time) but never heard of the place he is claiming I got the loan from.  He wanted $550 today to close the case.  I asked him what my case number was in the courts so I could look it up.  He gave me some phony number and it doesn't come up at all.

I received a call from a guy with an Indian Accent, didnt catch the name. He called me at work then my cell number. He stated that he was with the Department of Law and Investigation. He said I needed to call him back asap as I owed them money. I think it is the same scammers that phished my info a while back when I was trying to apply for a loan online. It sounds like the same guy, same line just a different number.  This number is out of Grand Juction CO.  The other numbers that have called me in the past with the same story is out of Florida.  I am going to try and get as much info as I can from this person and will notify the FBI and this post as I receive new info.
