What did I do to get on this list????  From this website seems most are "newspaper" and last 2 are state police appeal fundraiser.  What good is a DO NOT CALL list!!!!!!!

I got a call from each of the numbers above within 2 days.(11/19/08-11/20-08) Did not pick up, nor did they leave messages.  Anyone know who this is??

I just got a call too. I have no idea who it is but does anyone know how to stop the calls? Is there some list I need to be on?

Calls received on a cell phone from 605-370-5060, 707-222-8149, 541-225-5163, 970-347-8064 and 205-409-3236, for a total of 6 calls in 3 days. No message left. When I called the numbers, I was greeted with a recording that stated that they were my newspaper and that they were sorry to have missed my call. They had called to check on my service.

I had called back from a different number than they had called and had left a message on each number that I called, stating my two numbers, the one called and the one I was calling from, were on the Do Not Call List and not to call them again. If they do call them, they will be prosecuted, no matter what number they call from.

This was actually a genuine call for me from Trib Total Media; I had called the guy who sold me a subscription to the Tribune Review yesterday because we hadn't received it yet, and he called back from this number to tell me what was going on.

Calls, leaves no message.

Harassment call from telemarketer with the Southern Illinoisan newspaper

When I looked at my cell phone, I noticed I had a missed call. However, there was no message . . . and the number was unfamiliar to me. Thank goodness we have a way of checking out these numbers through the Internet. And even better that we can report them through this website. Thanks.

Received a call from them this evening.  Inquiring if I was now receiving my newspaper ok.  I was having problems and had called my local carrier to complain.  Seems to be just a follow up. (shrug)

They call and when i pick up they hang up.

"Hi this is your newspaper sorry we missed your call we was jus seeing how your service is doing" I have no newspaper service
