9703730139 - called me claiming that I was in serious trouble with the law and they were here to help me.  Knowing otherwise, I told that no thank you, I would ask my attorney for help when I was notified of what I did via mail.  "Officer Austin" then started threatening me with a subpeona sent to my work, and I should be ready for it.  Office Austin has a very strong foreign accent.

I received the same message the guy would not give me any information i told him to mail it to me.  He got mad and threatened me.

Mr. Anderson from Hopkins law firm says I have a debit with some company and when i return the call no one answers. They left message on my job phone also . I have contacted the Attorney General Office. So GOD help them

I am the owner of Hopkins Law Firm, and I can assure you that these calls are not coming from our law office.  We never make collection calls, and any collection attempts are always in writing with arequest that you contact the creditor first before contacting us.  We do not ask for personal information; if we are collecting a debt, we already have your personal information.

So, if you get one of these calls, do not give out any personal information.  You should ask for a return number and then hang up.  Then, report it to either your local prosecutor or the local FBI agent.  This is criminal

Finally, please do not call our office.  There is nothing that we can do.

this is a scam.  i don't know how these people got my number but DO NOT give them any of your information.  i wish some one would find this guy and serve him justice.  He said his name was officer Justin Brown and that i owed money to his company, as he was saying this all i can think of was his eastern accent.  im sorry but i don't think justin brown would sound like a middle estern person.  so be very careful!!

I received a call from a man with an Indian or Middle Eastern accent who called himself Mr. Anderson and stated that he represented the HOPKINS LAW FIRM. He said that he was calling on an Emergency legal matter that I needed to take care of immediately on the phone. I'm a law student and am fairly knowledgeable about certain protocols that attorneys use to deal with legal matters. So I told him that if there was a legal issue that involved me, then he should send his claim via US Postal Mail because I would not believe that any law-abiding attorney would be harassing an individual and exposing himself to retaliation in the form of lawsuit against his law firm. He hung up on me.

I have never had a verizon phone but they told me i was running from them and that i was scared and i was a thief so i just keep ignoring but i have been threatend at work that i will loose my job if it continues i am sick of them i am not paying them so they just need to stop with it i dont owe them anything provide me with some paperwork since i owe you

I have no idea why this person keeps calling me and telling me that he is a police officer and if I dont return his call, he will take it as Im running from this issue??? I mean what the heck!!!!!!  I know its not a cop. get  LIFE
