---> "E" emitted, "... it just shows how little the FCC gives a s***.  I've filed probably 20 complaints over the past 10 years...never heard back regarding one of them." <---

Do you actually expect them to send out the neighborhood dog catcher to your home?  The FCC and the FTC go after the big scofflaws, not small-time operators.

Here is what you can expect to happen if you file a complaint at http://www.donotcall.gov :

"What happens to my complaint?"
"Do not call complaints will be entered into the FTC?s Consumer Sentinel system, a secure online database available to more than 1,000 civil and criminal law enforcement agencies. While the FTC does not resolve individual consumer problems, your complaint will help us investigate the company and could lead to law enforcement action."
From the web page "National Do Not Call Registry" at
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0108-national-do-not-call-registry

One thing you might do is investigate whether your state also has a DNC registry.  Often state laws are less lenient towards telemarketers and state attorneys general are more eager to take up your cause in situations like this.

You might also try to take action yourself, if you are able to find out who it was that was actually calling.  If you are going to do that, I suggest you contact an attorney and do it quickly because some statutory damages in some situations are only available if you take quick action.  And there are some attorneys out there who will take cases solely for the statutory amount of attorney's fees that you are allowed to collect directly from some defendants.  This is great for you if you are covered by such a law, because the attorney's fees are provided as additional damages over and above any statutory and/or actual damages that you may also be entitled to.

But don't go cursing the FCC.  They already have enough to do, and in case you haven't noticed, they have gone without a full slate of commissioners for quite a while due to Washington politics.  Moreover, their staffing levels are the lowest they have been in some 30 years, and the effects of sequestration have yet to be fully absorbed.
See, for example, http://mnarc.org/news/2013/03/the-cuts-at-the-fcc-are-beginning/ .

Telemarketer
I get this every so often. Thanks "Pissed" for the information.  It says Town and Contr on my caller ID.

With no previous business relationship with them, I would say they were breaking the law. People got balls man. Or it just shows how little the FCC gives a s***.  I've filed probably 20 complaints over the past 10 years...never heard back regarding one of them.

Telemarketer
They are Town & Country Foods --- marketing from lists from telemarketer Polk, Inc.

They try to set an appointment with both spouses at home to come to your home and sign you up for a home delivery of fresh organic vegetables and the country's best meat, fish, and chicken, yada yada yada.  The bottom line is that they lock you into contracts just like cable tv -- and the catch is that they get their bonuses paid by selling you a deep freezer (or 2!) to store the foods that they start delivering.

I think that they' formerly Farm Home Foods... same outfit out of Fort Collins, Colorado.   total scam -  and while they will knock Vitamin Cottage and Whole Foods as excessively expensive,  when you add their finances for their overpriced freezers,  their prices are totally inflated.

best advice:  HANG UP on Town & Country Marketing !!  They'll RIP YOU OFF!!!!!

Call from (970) 493-4629 but no message.
Called it back and it rang once then automatically to busy.
I'm going to use my CenturyLink (formerly QC)  Selective Call Fowarding service to send these calls to VM directly so I'm not annoyed anymore.
