Ignored the call -- unknown number.

Recording about security system. Press 1 if interested, press 2 if not. I pressed 1 to yell at them. I said the number they called had been on the national do not call list for over 3 years. She said "really?".
Got the exact same call yesterday, but from a completely different number.

Get a lot of 970 calls and just got one from this number.  Rumor has it many businesses (domestic and foreign) are now using Skpe to make calls, so no specific number for a company pops up on caller ID.  Very disconcerting and I'm getting annoyed by being interrupted. I keep my cell ringer off now and check for calls occasionally.  Hope no one has an emergency!

rec'd 2 calls from this number in 2 days.  they do not leave a message

I pressed 1 to speak to someone and when I asked to be removed from their call list, he said "Don't you want to protect your family?" (it was a security system).  I answered "No, I don't want to protect them".  He hung up on me-lol.

This is from an unwanted telemarketer who randomly calls people. DON"T ANSWER YOUR PHONE>

I've been getting calls on my cell from 9707584808. the call is advertising home security services. the message states if your the home owner press 1. I pressed 1 and a man picked up who honestly sounded like he was fast asleep before he answered. I asked him the name of the company, he answered "security networks".   I asked him to send me some information by mail he said they dont offer any literature. i asked him for the company address, he declined. i asked him if they had a website he became aggitated and hung up. during the conversation he did offer to put me on a do not call list. just put my number on the national DNC. hope it works.

I keep getting phone calls from this number. I need it to stop, but they won't quit calling.

Actually talked to an individual who had some clue. Mentioned I was a 'lawyer' and my number was on a do not call list. She said it would take up to 48 hours for my number to be removed. Asked how my number got into their system, she didn't know.

They keep calling my cell and never leave a message.

Calls all hours and when I have dialed back from work I'm told it is not an assigned number.

Yes, on my cell. I tried calling them and it goes through a automated system and hangs up.

Also receiving numerous calls from 978-579-2447 and 970-758-4808 trying to sell security systems - sounds like a voice message recording but I don't give them a chance - I just hang up or ignore the call coming in; also on "do not call registry" but keep getting these frustrating security system related calls.

They call my cell phone numerous times each day and they need to be stopped. I have caller id so I do not answer the calls.

Just starting to get calls from this number, how are they getting cell phone numbers, aren't they not for the public, this is called invasion of privacy. Thanks for this site.

If you wish to not receive these calls, you must put your name on the DNC list for everyone you do business with or atleast choose to Opt-Out of third party communication. The National Do Not call list does NOT protect you from yourself, meaning, if you are actively doing business with any company (think your cell phone providers, cable company, credit card company, mortgage holder, etc) they are allowed to do that unless you specifically tell them not to (I would suggest in writing, but you can also do it verbally).So, unless you choose to opt out with those you are actively doing business with, you allow them to share your information with these fiends.

I have my suspicions that my cable company is to blame for this one. I also have been getting calls for some type of life alert system. Not only do I already have ADT, but I'm 30 years old, lol. I don't need a life monitor system.

this number called, and when I picked up no one answered.  I had an automated message from a security systems company 2 days ago from the number 702.333.9999 I wonder if it's the same scam.

I have my cell number on my work voicemail for Emergency notaries after my office closes or for simple questions about my business.  I have to pick up every strange phone call.  Most numbers that call me are from people who have just moved into the state so they will have very different area codes.  It's annoying when I have to pick up everytime and they scream into my ear "DON'T HANG UP!! THIS IS NOT A SALES CALL!!"

Disregard the 866 number above.  Call the 401-434-4585 number to stop the telemarketing calls.  Press 3 then press 1 and you will be able to speak to someone.  He took my number and added me to the do not call list.

Just got a call back from # 401-434-4585.  The name of the Company is VMS Alarms.  Customer Service number is 1-866-664-8766.  Make your calls there to complain.

The related numbers that I get at least 6 phone calls a day from are970-758-4808, 406-968-0874, 206-557-8989, 480-777-1234.  I just got a call a few mins ago and I went along with it.  I will try to get a number from them to post on here when the representative calls me back.

Go to your cell phone provider and give them the number and ask that they block it.
