They call repeatedly, but never leave a message!

yet another call from "USONLINE" attempting to verify my information. In spite of repeated requests that these folks stop calling, they continue about once a week. Typically Indian accents.

This number keeps calling us many times a day without leaving a message. We have told them (people with thick accents) more than once that we do not verify information over the phone. Tried calling the number and it says the number you have dialed has been disconnected. Beware.

They keep calling, but no one is on the line.

Got the same calls. Man with heavy accent finally answer with the same bull about business yellow pages. They do try to get you to say yes to any of their questions.
I said we dont have a business. He then ask do you want your name off.
My reply was "whatever Goodbye" then I hung up.
No more calls after this. I call the telephone co. they said they could not do anything, advise me to call the atty general. Called the Atty general office they could not answer any of my questions but advise me fill out a complaint form and said they would try to do somthing.
I am registered with the National Do Not Call Registry (www.donotcall.gov)
so I file a complaint with them.

Have told these people to get bent more than once. They keep calling anyway. I'm on every no-call list known to man and have call intercept, so obviously I have no desire to talk to random telemarketers. Perhaps it could be taken up with Qwest (the carrier)?

This number 970 925 3459 calls daily sometimes twice in less than an hour. I have answered once or twice by mistake and there is no one there.

PPS: Called the # back, comes up disconnected. How is it legal to make a different # show up?

Also got a call from this number. Sounds like a boiler room operation from India.
I think its one of the scams where the try to record you saying "yes" so they edit it to use as authorization to bill for advertising. I kept repeating what he wanted me to say, or "that is correct", etc.
He tried to trap me into saying "yes". I finally hung up. They have called and hung up 3 or 4 times since.
PS: the called ID says Aspen CO. yeah, right.

Same here, calling about 11 times so far today. Says to verify a yellow page directory, Have asked to STOP calling but they apparently do not know what that is. Heavy accent. Lot of hang ups. When I tried to call the number back it said not in service.

Has called twice so far today. Obviously a human calling the first time. Waited through answering machine greeting both calls but did not leave a message either time.

Caller was a man with a thick accent. Asked to verify business information for a free US online listing. Would not give the company name. Beware.
