I called the company claiming to be a cop and saying that they have been scamming people. Tricked them into connecting me to the CEO and then tricked him into giving me his cell. I just got this phone call and answered. I got no answer and the call just ended. How annoying!!!!

Got a call from 970-987-5250.  I let the voice mail pick it up.  The 'caller' apparently doesn't like voice mail.  Tough...they want to talk to me (which I doubt), they can leave a message and call back number.  Otherwise, they get to listen to a litany of my voice messages, which for them I will make as obnoxious as possible.

It is not illegal for a collection agency to leave a message on your phone. They just can't say why they are calling. Example: "Hi, I'm looking for John. This is Jane. Please call me back at 555-1111."

Whom is this Central Collections asking for (Name) etc.

It is illegal to call you regarding a debt  and or  leave messages on your phone.

I don't know this phone number. I told them to stop calling weeks ago,but have not honored my request.

I just called the number back and got a person and asked them to take me off. They let me know who they were trying to contact and when I told them this was no longer their number they said they would take me off. So hopefully that works.

Whoever's on the line didn't even speak to me. Not once.

I told them I'd be blocking them. And I did.

Recieved several calls from this number and I want it to stop. No one is on the line when I answer and thay do not leave a message of I don't answer. Iam on the no call list. Report them so they stop.

I'm not sure how many times I've received a call from this number. The first time I hung up. But this time time I pressed '1' like the recording instructed. After about a minute it hung up on me. Would love to know what this is....

this number called, (thought i recognized the area code as Fort Collins, CO) but when i answered it said "press one to speak to someone immediately" then "thanks for holding"
so i hung up.

Received a call from this number, requesting "Press 1 to speak with someone immediately."  It repeated this message three times, and without any action from me it stated "No response was recorded, Goodbye."  I suspect this is some type of collection agency trying a new method of getting people to accept calls, but I really have no idea who this was.

I received the phone call from (970) 987-5250 today; the caller ID showed Glenwood Springs Co.
The recording said "press 1 to speak with someone", so I did.  Female's voice asked for unknown to me name.  When I told her that this person doesn't reside here, she apologized and said she'd adjust her list..........

Answered my cell, but no one there.  The words "CALL HELD" appeared onscreen.  I have a TracFone & wonder if there's a problem thru TracFone?  Wondering who can "hold" calls?

Yeah, I don't know if its a debt collector or what, even if you answer the call, press one for the rep, eventually the hold music dies off and nothing happens.  To be honest I would at least like to know the purpose of the call, they've been calling me for months on and off and I can't get to a rep. If I wind up getting sued for something I'm going to refer to their faulty phone system management.

yes, this call was from Glenwood Springs Colorado, and when i answered no one replied on the other end....blank for a while, then they hung up. I see the last post was Feb 2011...they must be starting on their spring calling, lol.

This number has called my place of business approximately 50 times since Jan 1, it is a recorded message. If we don't answer, they call back again and again.

I have reported every call to the FTC because we are on the "Do not call" list.

I would like to know who they are so we can send a registered letter telling them to cease and desist or we are going to file legal action.

Then she asked me if I was such and such name I said no then she asked if I knew them I said no then she said goodbye and called me by another name. I can only conclude they are calling for some bill collectors.

That number showed up as having called my Google number while I was at work.  No message.  Anybody know who or what this is?
