If you have an answering machine, you can outfox these predators. Record Special Information Tones (see the attached url to hear them) at the beginning of your outgoing message. This tells anyone using an autodialer that the number is out of service. A real person won't care, but then they have to listen to you tell them off. I've used these tones for the past few years and the number of telemarketing calls has dropped. I sincerely hope it helps other people to avoid these pests.

What a nuisance - they call over and over and over and over - I am on the 'no call list' and still I get these annoying calls.

The person called twice last eve. at 7:27 p.m. & then again at 7:57 p.m., this time registered "Oregon" on the Call Display.  I didn't answer.   Interestingly, at 7:31 p.m. was another unknown number (1-778-372-2705) which I googled & discovered belongs to someone in Vancouver, B.C.

Got a call - no message left.

They called mr at 10:30pm.  I was sleeping & got worried that it was an emergency.  Heard the recording so I hung up.  Iwhy aren't the phone companies doing something about these stupid calls!!!

I do not want to receive the calls from this number.

Got called while I was at work.  No message left this time, but after reading everything here, I'm sure its the latest Independent Survey Group/Political Opinions spoofed phone number.  These scammers never give up.

I was called this morning by 971-208-9999. No one on the caller's end just a nothing. I think that everyone harrassed by these callers should be entitled to a sizeable discount from our phone carriers. When these rich and fat companies start losing money then and only then will these harrassing marketeers be stopped.

Political call, all hours.

In Ontario and was just called after 10:30 p.m. and woken up.
Googled to find out who was calling, thought it might have been a relative with an emergency at this hour.
If there is karma these people have some bad stuff coming to them.

I have also put my phone on night mode so it will not ring between midnight and 8am

they keep calling, called me tonight at 10:19  pm  I anwsered, and no one was there. I called back and a woman with an english accent says  This number you have called is temporarily unavailable...

We also got called tonight....we were out...answering machine picked up....no message.  We, too, are on the "do not call list"

I do no answer calls from numbers I don't recognize then I block them and will keep doing so.

They do not stop calling.  These people should be shut down.  They should get the all callers they call to call them every minute.  The b*****ds don't have the guts to talk to their callers.   F----K THEM!!!!!

Does not respond when I answered the call.  Has happened from this number before.

I received a call with this number no one answered.  When I say Hello no one answered. This is 2 nd time I got  this call.
