How would a fax machine Help?

Receive calls periodically from 971-213-1943 and don't answer.  Answering machine picks up and they hang up.  My caller ID says "Financial Center" is calling.

Call came in at 11:40am.  Did not recognize number so did not answer.  I always check this site for the number to see who is calling.  DNCL - what's the use?   They get around it and use so many different numbers.  Well, adding this one to my scammers list.

They've called today (19th) and yesterday. I've also seen a recent increase in telemarketing calls to my home phone, despite being on the do-not-call list.

Stop this madness!!! they call everyday

Just got a call a little while ago says Financial Ctr
if it is what you people say a Scam
I Have no Credit Card so the joke is on them
and they are probably looking for the wrong person
my number used to be unlisted when it was under my name.
Now I am getting people probably looking to scam my Dad or Brother
and other bozos calling and not leaving a message.
But hey I do not answer unless it is someone I know.
and if I get annoyed I answer and just hang up.

The phone number, obviously, was (971) 213-1943.  I miss typed.

Received a call from (917) 213-2943 @ 8:07 PM 9/18/2012.  Caller ID reads "SHERWOOD, OR".  Female recorded voice says call is from "Card Member Services".

This Card Services keeps calling several times a day will even leave messages on my machine. I have waited for a person to come on and asked to be removed from the list of calls. I am on the do not call list and am getting very annoyed by this company.

NOPE.  Its a SCAM.  

If you answer and ASSUME you are doing business with a legit company you are going to get YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBERS STOLEN and YOUR ID STOLEN.

Best NOT to answer.

NO Bank; these are THIEVES trying to STEAL your CREDIT CARD NUMBERS and YOUR ID.

This is a CREDIT CARD PHISHING SCAM.

Better not to answer.

Our Caller ID also said "Financial Ctr" when they called DURING DINNER tonight (9/18/12.)  We picked up/hung up without answering to stop the call.

Expect they are the tired old CREDIT CARD PHISHING SCAM.

Everything written is what I could repeat, but I won't. Finally put them on my "blocked" list.  Hope it works!

I am tired of receiving calls from this number and others. I have signed up for the DO NOT CALL list and still get calls like this from these kind of places on both home and cell phones.

My landline phone has a blocked service built in. I keep blocking all of the variations of this #. They keep calling. Caller i.d states:  "Financial Ctr". They try to dupe you into believing they are re: an existing acct. of yours w/a real institution.

Over the last several months I have received multiple annoying phone calls by this company to lower your interest rate on credit cards. I have asked several times to have my phone number removed from their calling list. They hang up.

this company is calling frequently after many requests to stop. We are on the do not call list. Please make them stop

I believe this call is from HSBC Bank. They handlea lot of credit card business including the GM Card.

This telephone number belongs to Pacific Telecom Communications Group.  They are a public utility who's business involves facilitating telemarketing calls, a likely violation of 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

You don't understand how the DoNotCall Registry works. The Registry works on voluntary compliance like speed limit signs on highways. Honest telemarketers honor the Registry, abusive telemarketers and scammers do not regardless of who is sitting in the White House, Democrat or Republican.

On the do not call list.. And here they keep calling. Wow obama .. Fix the do not call list please otherwise rename it to the.. Do call list.. Because I have never done business with Rachel from card holder services.. Fraudulent pond scum. Thanks .....one who sits up and flys right.

"Card Member Services" is designed to make you think it might be a company you actually have an account with.  These morons call me all the time, even though I'm on the federal do not call list, and every time it's from a different area code.  They're some kind of fly-by-night operation that ignores the telemarketing laws until they get shut down, and then just move somewhere else.

Ignore them completely.  There's no way a company doing business like this can POSSIBLY offer anything legit.
