Called my cell phone this morning, but I missed the call. When I called back, it's a "mortgage relief center". I don't really need mortgage relief, so I hung up when the sales person came on the line.

I got a phone call from this number, but they told me they were from the Home Retention Center. I asked them what the call was about, and was asked if I was late or behind on my mortgage, I don't own a home. When I told him that I don't have a mortgage he hung up on me. Also, the name he used was Mitchell.

Ongoing calls from The Law Group. They never leave a message. They must stop calling. If they wish to speak to me they must leave a message, as I don't answer misc. callers ...

I have been getting calls from this number continually. I have answered and there is no one there. I am calling to get this number blocked.

After having received more than 13 calls from this number within the past week and having reported the number to the FCC (I am on the Do Not Call list) I finally answered today. Earlier today, I had also tried to call the number back, to learn that it's disconnected.
The person on the other end claimed to be a man named Mitchell (or Mitch) Vera from the Rosen Law Center in Irvine, CA. Interestingly, if you call their phone number (949-363-6908), it's also disconnected. I told "Mitchell" I didn't think he was who he said he was and he became very abusive, asking me repeatedly whether I'm ignorant and yelling at me over the phone. I hung up on him and he tried immediately to call me back.
Here's what I decided to do:
1. Call the phone company. If, like me, you're with AT&T, they offer a call blocking service in cases of harassment.
2. Call law enforcement and let them know. This is not OK.
3. Update my FCC complaint to say that I think this number has been spoofed.
