+971 55 5167540 called me in the middle of the night and three times around 5am. I didn't answer because I don't know anyone that is in another country currently. They have not stopped calling since. How fo they get our numbers?

I just did. This "Security Systems" scam is disgusting... they call from various numbers, they will NOT stop calling. latest call was from 973 273 7821 . PLEASE STAND WITH ME AND FILE A REPORT. Thank you.

Caller id showed as 011 971 220 1753. Calls have occurred with randomly. I don't answer so I don't know who it is.

I live in Plantersville, TX and I just received a phone call today 03/08/2012 at 1;52P.M. from an English speaking man.  He said Hello twice and then hung up.  I was looking up the number before I answered.

Love it - got to remember to do that!

Called me up late at night - used up my voicemail time with background noises.  Come on now - something muswt be done with these low lifes.  If you're one of the low-life's that's calling - Go F#*K Yourself and die!

I got a call from +971 220 1753. Here 971 is not the area code. It is the country code for UAE. I didn't get to answer the call but looks like it's a good thing I didn't. Maybe that's why the "do not call" list cannot block these.

I just recieved a call on my cell trying to sell a home security system. Everyone, report this number to the FTC by clicking on "file a complaint" at https://www.donotcall.gov/

just got a call from these people on my cell. Told me I won a wireless home security system.
I got all excited and started yelling I won I won! then aske if that came with naked ladies as prize.
He kept trying to read his pitch , I told him he sounded sexy (i am a man) and what was he wearing. I was naked and touching myself while we talked....he could  hardly speak started to yell at me but stopped. Asked me if I was a homeowner told him I lived in a cardboard box and if we could hook the alarm up to that.
he told me have a nice day and hung up.

If they are calling your cell, request that your cell carrier block the number. As far as FTC, Do Not Call lists prevent legitimate businesses from calling those registered- which doesn't, unfortunately, apply to scammers.

If you wish you can report repeated calls as harassing with local police... if there are enough reports, the benefit is often a news report- so the general public is aware to simply not reply/answer.  

These skeezes often switch numbers, so I make it a simple rule of thumb to never answer calls from numbers I dont recognize.

Who are these nutjobs?  I live in a friggen apartment complex!  If this is about security...DON'T CALL ME!!

Got a call at 7:24PM on2/29.  Have caller ID, so I did not answer.
I am also on the DO NOT CALL list, so what gives?

Got call from them just now - I never answer numbers I don't recognize - they will leave a message if it is important.  They didn't of course.

I've received two calls so far this week from this number..... supposedly in Gresham, OR..... but I suspect that it's a hacked number and being dialed by al Quaida operatives on their satellite phone from a cave somewhere in the middle east (judging by the accent, of course). Well, personally speaking, I don't want a security system that has been installed by terrorists. Who knows, the folks that they send to put it in might be a sleeper cell, or worse yet the wiring that they install within your home's walls might actually be a receiver that incapsulates you, and over time they can program and control you, enabling them to sit back and have you do their dirty work. Who wants that? Not me, that's for sure!

They call me at least twice a da and will not stop!! Soo freakin tired of these people! I don't answer calls that I don't recognize the number for.. if you don't leave a message and you call back i'm really not going to answer.

My wife has gotten several calls from this number. When she answers, the caller will not speak. Tried calling the number back and it is not in service or cannot be reached.

I want these people to stop calling me!!!

Received call, she asked for the owner of the residence, inquired as to reason for the call and was informed it was regarding home security. Informed caller that I was on the do not call list and would be filing a complaint with the FCC. Called immediately hung up.  I will file a complaint with FCC!

I received 3 phone calls from this number just a few minutes ago. A male with a heavy accent informed me I qualified for a free...... could not understand what he was saying. When I asked him where he was calling from and who he was he hung up.

Got a call from this number today, they claimed That they will install a security system in my house for free.  I cut the call short, told them not interested

These idiots called me after I went to bed and was sound asleep. There was a man and woman very, very soft spoken.When I asked who was calling they hung up. I am on the Do Not Call list for all the good it does.

i was in math class this evening... thankfully i'd put my phone on meeting mode.... didn;t recognize the number of my missed call... so googled it..  and this is the number !  Thankfull the call was during class so i didn't have to answer it!

Then don't answer.  If you don't answer, your minutes don't get charged.  Sheesh.

Got the call on my cellphone.  Guy had an accent, possibly Indian.  Starts his spiel saying my number has been randomly selected and they're gonna give me a free security system or some such.  I politely say "No thank you."  The guy tells me "You're going to let me finish and then you'll make your decision."  I reply "No, I'm going to hang up."  He was still trying to talk as I did so.
