These people keep calling me. They have been calling everyday for two weeks now. They sound Indian and are yelling to speak with me. I live in Texas so I know it has to be a scam. Everytime they call I pick up the phone and hang it up since they don't leave any voice message saying what they want.

A man with a Middle-Eastern accent called and wanted my information about a student loan.  I asked what company they represent since I know they are not the FEDLOAN or any other student loan service. They said they needed to verify my information for a student loan and I keep asking where they got my information and who they where with. They said I had requested the information and I said, "when and at what sight". They said they have many sites. I said "ok, name one".  They said "we have many sites".  I said, "name one".  He then started over about I requested the student loan information. I then said, "OK, where are you at? Pakistan, India, Bangladesh? "  I know this is a scam and you are not a real student service.  I said, "Where are you calling from? He said where do you think? I said,"Pakistan because you send the money to back AL Qaida... oh, no wait.  I saw an ABC undercover about you guys being form India and the person who sends the money to India is from California".  He went quit and then hung up.......

I don't know what is this calls all about no matter what it is please refrain from calling me and erase me from your calling list

Calling my cell phone interrupting my work.

I have been receiving calls from all over the US since this morning, ranging from Oregon, to Florida, to Texas. I have googled every one of the numbers and they are all scams. Suspicious. I never answer, and they don't leave messages. If it was important, and legit, they would have a real person leaving a real message. DO NOT ANSWER AND EVENTUALLY THEY'LL GET THE IDEA THAT WE'RE SMARTER THAN THEY THINK WE ARE.

When you call it back, *and you have to wait almost 1 minute for the ringing to start, otherwise it seems like nothing's happening*, the automated message states you have been contacted for marketing purposes, no other details.  You can push 1 to be placed on their DNC list.

People, what you write in here does not get back to the person/place that called you. Being on the no-call registry does no good due to some "act"or another being signed in Congress recently. They sold us out....again. So the only thing you can do to not be disturbed by these calls - because they are not going to end..... is this. Put the number in your contact list, name it Scam and give it a silent ring. Now the only way I know one of these unscrupulous places has called me is when I look at my phone and it reads -"missed call".

Its the friggin' telecom deregulation, the $10 charge for state do not call list and the exemptions that are allowed. There should be no exemptions so tell them not to call again. If they do its stalking.

I also received a call from this number.  I plan on contacting the FCC if the calls continue as I am also on the DNC list.

I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST and I still get these calls.  I am reporting it!

I received a call from this number twice within a week. I have my cell no. on the do not call registry, why am I getting these calls?  I do not want to receive this call any longer.

I have just started getting this number calling me daily and sometimes 2x per day.  No one responds if I answer.

I've returned call at least three times and chose the option to not be contacted anymore.  I'm still being contacted and on the dnc list.

I just received a call from this number at 4:25pm about a home alarm system. I recently registered my number on the national do not call list and ever since I've been getting spam phone calls... what gives?? Whomever it is, knock it off! I don't want any of your crap.

I just received a call from this number but no one is on the line.  Caller ID only shows the phone number.  Wish I knew how to stop these calls, I am on the do not call list but it doesn't seem to help.

I got the same crappy phone call a minute ago and caller ID read 'Student Service'. I'm 65, retired, and am not looking to enroll in ANYTHING.

I answered this call like the15 or so others I am now receiving a day from supposedly Washington, California, etc. as it said Student Service on the caller ID.  However, there was someone there but they did not speak but hung up on me.  I am not sure why all of a sudden I am receiving these calls as I am on the do not call list and have been for the past two years but now I can't stop the calls.  They are unsolicited and I wish something could be done about them.

Looks like a marketing call to install a new home alarm system.
