Has anyone called the police? Maybe the police can target where these guys are making calls from and we might all reveal some huge pack of criminals making a hoard of money at innocent bystanders expense.

Called from 971-259-3189 (9712593189), phone rang once and disconnected. This is definitely a scam, seeing as how everyone else on here has had the same exact experience with this caller. I will block the phone through my provider and I suggest everyone else do the same.

Called my work number 08-21-13 11:45 left a message. I returned the call. David Green said I had recently made a purchase at a "major retailer" and that to thank me they would be sending me a $100 rebate to spend at that store. I asked what store I had made the purchase and he remained vague, saying a "major retailer like Walmart or Target." He wanted to charge only $4.95 for shipping and handling (why would you give me $100 then charge me to send it?). When I asked again what store, he repeated himself, so I hung up. I suspect if I had answered when the call came in that no one would have been on the other end = robo call designed to leave messages only.

Caller claimed that I recently visited a site for rewards redemption (not true). Probably a scam artist of some sort.
