I receive calls from this number 2-3 times per day everyday.  They say they are calling about the status of my account.  Press one if it is Geri Druash and press 2 if not.  They are calling to reduce interest rates but I told them to please take me off their calling list and the calls continue.

"Tom" calls from this number also.  says he is with Protect America, from this web site Melissa says they are with Intristic Marketing.  I left a message on their facebook.  Do the same and show your disgust.

I get these calls from several different numbers and can not get them to stop. So I add them to my contact list as "AS**OLE #whatever" . This way I either have a laugh as I hang up on them or pick up and have a laugh as I play them.

This is the scam that countless other people have been affected by. Also called at 12:04 PM on 03/20/2012 from same phone number and on 3/12/12 at 259PM. Also 5034571231 at 605 PM on 3/19/12 and from 7606806895 on 3/19/12 at 250PM and on 3/15/12 at 1123AM. Also, received a call from 6122227091 on 3/14/12 at 113PM and on 3/9/12 at 447PM. Also received call from 9712959768 on 3/6/12 at 902PM and on 3/5/12 at 409PM. Another number is 3072743886 on 3/5/12 at 559PM.

I answered their call once in the Fall and since then have received all of these phone calls. I filed a complaint with the FTC about all of these numbers (all of the ones I've received in the last month).

The best way to get them to stop is to waste as much of their times as possible when they call..ask lots of questions - give them a a credit card number and transpose one or two numbers and keep going back and forth and sound very interested until they realize you have no intention of doing business with them. If we all eat up as much time as possible, they will realize their business model is a failure and will have to get a real job. more importantly they stop calling.

Folks, the first thing you need to know is that the number you see in your Caller ID is totally false.  It is a waste of time to try and see where the call originated, as they can put in any number that they want.  

I saw how this worked when I set up a phone system for a legitimate operation over 5 years ago.  I was able to surprise my wife by calling her and sending our own Caller ID her way.  

Regrettably I, too have to put up with these calls.  These crooks are in the ID theft business, and there is little the Do Not Call List can do to stop these guys.
There are technologies in the telephone industry to get these guys, but court orders take time, as the government has checks and balances in place to protect our rights.

Do us all a favor.... if your phone number is listed on the DO NOT CALL website, please go there and file a complaint against the phone number calling you.

I have been receiving phone calls from Utah, Kentucky, Oregon, Florida, North Carolina, Minnesota, etc....

Sometimes they ask to lower your APR on your credit card... and if you do get a person on the line and ask "which" credit card, they will hang up...

But please report them to the FTC (Federal Trade Commision), REPORT ALL phone numbers you get from these people, it is then entered into a data base, when a large group of people are reporting the same numbers over and over, this is when things start to happen and they go after these people, not reporting them goes unnoticed and you keep getting the calls....

Several calls from these numbers starting with 971.  I do not talk to them.  I never want to talk to them.  Something needs to be done to stop the daily, sometimes more than daily calls that we get from people we don't want to talk to.

I also have been getting these calls, all hours.. I tried telling them I'm on the do not all list, they hang up, I've tried yelling out anything when they call, such as stop or whatever comes to mind. THIS IS HOW IT FINALLY STOPPED!

One day "THE" call came in, I pushed 1 to speak to someone, when "Eric" came onto the line, I played like i was dying, and polietly, almost breathless said to Eric, " Hey Eric, I appreciate your call, however, I'm dying, i have stage 4 cancer, and get many Doctors and Nurses that call, I'm hooked up to machines, and I can barely turn to get the phone. Is there some way,......here he interupts me, and says, OH, I'm so very sorry, I'll be glad to take care of this, let me get your number correct, he then reads it back to me, I agreed that was the correct number, I could hear him typing, and then he said...OK. all set and then went on to say GOD BLESS YOU". It's been a few weeks now, and NO more calls. I was getting up to 10 a week over MONTHS, having to deal with many foul mouthed nasty people.

I hate the fact, that I lied, as I do have my Mom here with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, but sometimes, when at WAR, We MUST do what WE MUST do as GOOd Warriors, to get the job done.

Got a call from this number at 8:56 p.m. on March 6.  Arghh! So mad because I was getting ready to go to sleep and my phone rings for this garbage.

Please stop calling. I am not interested.

Don't know the number and they don't leave a message so I answered it once and got hung up on when I tried to tell them not to call me again. I will be reporting them to the do not call registry.

Same happening to me! I have had many "lower you rates" calls from all over the U.S. The last two I received, I pressed "1" and then I asked them to remove . . ., and then they hang up and my camera goes off. I look to see which number was calling and the number is gone. This is really getting weird.

this phone number called me hung up and when i called back it went straight to voice mail which stated that this number for mike jones is full and cannot accept any more calls so who the heck is mike jones

This number keeps calling me with too-good-to-be-true offers on my cell phone. Getting very tired of being interrupted by them!

Same here, cyph !  I also use YouMail and  "NIGERIAN SCAMMER" showed up on my caller ID from this number.

This person at this number (971) 295-9768 has been calling for some time now. When u call the number it says that the voice mail box for Mike Jones is full and can not accept calls. I want these calls to stop. I dont know who he is and i dont want to know.

they call repeatedly have been able to return call and tell them to remove my # but still getting calls for same company just calling from other number it is always my last chance to get my interested reduced on a credit card that do not even have  just getting real sick of this and nothing seems to work to stop it.  Get calls on both land line and cell

I am getting so fed up with all these calls from random numbers. Every time I get a call from an unknown number (in KY, OR, FL, WA, etc...) I check on here and sure enough - it's another scammer. What can we do to get rid of these calls once and for all?

Just got another one with this number. I dumped it to voicemail. I don't get may long-distance calls to my company cell, so I just dump them. If it's important, and a real human, they can leave voicemail.

Yes, the cell is in the DoNotCall list. Does no good with these scammers.

All we can do is dump the calls until these scammers are shot and killed.

This number calls me on my cell.  They never say anything when I answer.  I guess I'm missing all the fun. :)
