This is getting to be a problem !!!!!!!!! 2-3 calls a day . Blocked them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This telephone number belongs to Pacific Telecom Communications Group.  They are a public utility who's business involves facilitating illegal telemarketing calls in apparent violation of 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

Called my cell phone but didn't leave a message.  I can block that number and will.  All I know is the location was Portland, OR.

Personally, I get a lot of these from various numbers.  When I call back, I either get hung up on or a recording that this is a non-working number or has been disconnected.  My personal take? It's a scam to get everyone to buy the call blocking service.  I hate scams ... and scammers.

How do I get them to stop.  I have stopped picking up the call but average 2-3 calls a day.  Call blocking is $5 per month.  $60 a year for stopping one number.  There must be another way.

I keep getting calls from this number and no one is there when I answer. When I call it back I get a recording that says no one is here at the moment goodbye. Ive had it with this # calling me on my business phone I want this to stop what can I do?

MY SUGGESTION IS THAT IF YOU DONT RECOGNIZE A LONG DISTANCE NUMBER DONT ANSWER.  IF IT IS LEGITIMATE THE CALLER WILL LEAVE A MESSAGE.

They have been calling repeatedly. I have repeatedly pressed the button to be removed from their call list. I attempted to talk to a person and ask to be removed from the list and they hung up on me. I called this number and was informed that it was disconnected.

If you are on you state's no call list, report it.  I just did.  That is the only way they will be stopped.  Arogent  basterd I talked to.  Laughed at me when I told him I was on no call list.

What can we do about it?

They keep calling about a free security system. I've asked to be removed. They always hang up when I ask for their name or company name. Every time I call the number back it says it was disconnected.
