this person has been constantly texting me about a babysitting her daughter. It was from craigslist. Very Sketchy.

Back again guys. I am supposed to be recieving that check today. I texted him and told him that I knew it was a scam and he got all defensive and I told him that I will be checking with the bank for a fraud check when I get it and will be contacting the authorities if it is fake. He denied every last bit of it but has not replied since I have said I will contact the authorites. I will give you feedback after I recieve the check today

I am so glad I looked this number up. This guy had replied to my ad on craigslist about a babysitting job and said he'd pay me 320 a week and says the check will be here tomorrow. I knew it was a scam ! Thank you for the reports guys!

Same number called me and offered $30 extra was going to reply back with my info but then thought I would look up the number glad I did saw all these post lol also called my father in law who uses CL alot he said no its a scam so yeah wrote the guy back and told him my husband is a policy officer and he was looking up the address to the number so yeah he hasnt wrote back.

ok just got a  text from this fool send me $2,500 for a fridge, would like to meet him and wring his neck, just wasting my time as if nothing better to do. sheesh.

Just got a craigslist response from this number. I asked if they were local and havent heard back. Its almost 3am here. I think im going to make a sweet little add for them to be annoyed like i am.

Same story here. Wanted to know my final price. Said they'd pay an extra $30. Then they were going to send wayyyy more than I was asking......my rule of thumb is if it sounds too good to be true it usually is fake. I googled his number and found this. How can I report him so he quits scamming people?

971-533-7239 replyied to three out of six of my CL listings.  wanting to know the final price.  Loser is trying to scam CL posters.  Beware!!

Same here, Just did the same thing to me. Wanted me to ship my 60 gallon fish tank to him. What a scammer

Just got a text from this number from my CL ad, googled it and saw this site, told him item was already sold--- not dealing with scammers. He is still using this number.

This guy, Jeff is busy. He is trying to get me to help defraud people. Wanting me to be a book keeper and process checked and of course he will pay me by western union or something.  He is preying on the vulnerable and weak in hope of making a buck, to lazy to work, a common low life who needs to be made a example of. To bad his name and number cant be circulated and keep his line tied up like he does everyone elses. Dont deal with this scum.

Jeff, wants me to work for him, (scam), to mail out checks for him, like a book keeper he said. Obviously, if anything scandalous it would come back to me. Not that stupid. But some people are so desperate for money they will fall for it, and I hate that. He should go to jail, preying on the vulnerable because hw is to lazy to get a job.

He used Christopher this time though and said we couldn't talk on the phone because he was deaf....lol alright buddy. And he's still using this number.... People these days. Same story. I cancelled my craiglist ad. Cashed his check which by the way was for $970.00 more than I was asking for a sax. Western Unioned him the balance, got a letter from my bank saying the check was a fraud.

I just got the text after my ad hit CL wanting to know my lowest $$  told him lower by 20.00 if cash and pick up today. Nothing more from him

I did reply and he sent me a check and it was counterfeit...I couldn't believe it :( It caused me so many problems this morning..

That scumbag text me to ,  saying the same b***s*** line about taking down my add from Craiglist
I text him back saying...cash only hear and now. no other way thx.....there was no more reply from him..
After reading these other adds....  someone needs to shut this dumb a** down.

Yeah this guy thinks he's working me right now but the truth is that I'm just putting him through the motions and expense of sending me the fake check via FedEx. He won't be getting a dime from me, in fact, if I can locate this scammer and positively put him/her on American soil I'll get him arrested. Truth is that these scumbags typically work out of Nigeria where US law enforcement has no authority and they utilize switches and telephone exchanges that make it appear that their call is originating here.

Same as above reports about a guy named Jeff in MN with an Oregon #(971-533-7239)...$30 to remove add and then he would send cashier's check the next day.  Seemed wierd he wanted both unrelated items that I had in my add...

I got one today. Would pay me $30 to wait for a cashiers check for my $300 cameral lens. Has an Oregon phone number but said they were in MN. I said no thanks. (Sounded fishy). Googled the phone number and found this.
