Showed up on caller ID as  HBA, a woman said hello and hung up. Lots of background noise. Def another annoying telemarketer/ lowlife.

Called my work, said they were from a collection agency and started asking for my personal information.
I asked who they were calling and he said my first name (as I did when I answered the phone) but had no other information.

Call incessantly!! It's merchant services wanting to know if I accept credit cards. UGH!!

This number called from out of the blue. No one said anything, just background chatter. I called their number back and an answering machine said to leave my telephone number to be removed from their call list.  So i did. About three days later they call again and I say I am not interested. Now I get 3 or 4 calls a week from them sometimes even on Saturday!

Received a call from Christopher from PPG.  He became extremely rude when I said I was not interested and thanked for taking our company off the call list. He said, "You don't even know what I'm calling about.  You suck."  Wow, hope his employer reads this.

Same thing as above. Called last night, a lot of background noise like a bunch of people talking. Woman simply said "The owner of the household please." My reply was brief and to the point "No and get this number off your list NOW!" She hung up.

Caller ID showed up as '9722019985'

the 972-201-9985 called. However, did not leave any messages.

I pick up the phone and the guy on the phone said "Burritos" (I'm not kidding!).  I gave my business name and he asked to speak to the owner.  I asked who he was and he said PPG.  I asked why and he hung up.

Not sure what he was peddling, but since I'd already eaten lunch and wasn't in the mood for Mexican food, I'll just add this number to my blocked list.

Good news if you have Comcast. Block unwanted calls.

Call screening allows you to block up to 12 numbers and these callers will hear a polite message indicating that you are not receiving calls at this time. You can also activate this feature by dialing *60 from your Comcast phone.

Comcast also has Anonymous Call Rejection ?which blocks all incoming calls from people who have deliberately blocked their caller ID, either using the Caller ID Block per Call feature (*67) or the Caller ID Block per Line feature. Typically, their caller ID would show as ?Anonymous,? ?Private,? or ?Private Caller.? Those inbound callers will instead hear a message that the customer does not want to receive a call from any party that has blocked their caller ID.? Simply dial *77 from your Comcast phone to activate.

Received call from Caller ID 'HBA' (972) 201-9985 with background chatter and no one said anything, but disconnected after I said "Hello" twice. Called the number back and received a message stating, "You have reached David with PPG, in order to have your name removed from our calling list, please leave the full contact number after the tone".

I called them back & it auto-answered saying something like PPG & if I wanted my number removed from their calling list to enter it now. I blocked them along with the other thousand blocked numbers. Gotta love Google Voice with unlimited blocking!
