Called me today, didn't leave a message. Judging from other comments, I am sure they were calling regarding a purchase I made at Guitar Center. Will not be answering in the future.

Yep called me after 8:30 pm which seems silly. I am on the national don't call list too. I didn't answer- no message left.

The calls come from Direct Opinions. They are a market research firm based out of Ohio. Chances are, you either made a purchase from Midas or Guitar Center. They are hired to evaluate your shopping experience. If you did have any issues with your purchase, the agent will alert management and your issue will be taken care of.
There is no sale or scam aspect involved. I'd advise participating because if you use either Midas or GC regularly, your opinion will help shape how the store operates in the future. And at least at GC, we actually listen to the survey call and take action based upon your opinions. I hope Midas does the same!

I got a call from them as well. The reverse phone number look up says its a land line in Irving, TX.

i recieved a call from this number last night. they asked if i was so and so and they were with midas of richardson. i didn't think anything of it so i said yes i am so and so, then they hung up.... is there anything i should be worred about? is ther anyone i should contact? i called the number back a few times and now its just a busy signal over and over....

Got a call in the last hour. Didn't answer. I've added the number to my directory on my cell with the name "Scam Caller" so I won't answer in the future.

I live in North Dallas. Just received a call from them at 6:57 P.M., but didn't answer. Seemed suspicious since CallerID said "Unknown Name" and I didn't recognize the number.

They asked for customer satisfaction about a purchase from Guitar Center that I didn't make. When I contacted GC, no record was found of the "purchase", and they told me that they never do customer satisfaction surveys.
