It has to be a scam. It is illegal for the government to give out any information about anyone's taxes. Totally illegal - as in you will be brought before a federal judge illegal.

They just called me. It doesn't matter if you're on a list or if you don't have any tax issues. It's an automatic dialer that just keeps calling numbers until somebody answers. Call enough people a day and there will be a small percentage who fall for whatever nonsense they're pitching.

They called my cell phone and it is also on the do not call list. Appearently being on this list means nothing to them. If there is a way to get them I would like to know!

JERKS called about current IRS back taxes. I do not and have never owed taxes. They also call my business from 513-823-4244. I told the caller today that I am on the Do Not Call list. That means nothing to people like this. They call repeatedly. Tell them you owe nobody nothing and they still call. Scum.

They changed their phone # again. This is the same scammers with a robo-caller and robo voice calling to say they are calling about your back tax debt. Since I do not owe back taxes at all and never have I must conclude that they are calling anybody and everybody until they hit on someone who does owe taxes.
