Conns Collections just calling. They spoof form all kinds of numbers. Just an FYI this time it is was Conn's

Local SEC calling from 877-853-4973 calls repeatedly offering to put us on front page of Google, though we've asked to be removed from their list.  Google should do something about these obnoxious telemarketers.  The manager was cocky and rude.

The general reason you cannot call back to the number on your display is (a.) they've set it up for outbound only, if you get a rapid busy, or (b.) and more often the case, they spoof a number in order to masquerade and hide themselves.

Now seriously folks do you really want to work with any slimeball that doesn't provide you full disclosure of who they are, where they are located and does it in a low pressure, appreciative fashion, instead of using dirtball tactics—such as this is good for you?

Very rude caller.  Asks for the "Head of Marketing" and then responds very rudely when you tell him that that person is not immediatelly available.

Caller has called seven times today-yes seven. First three times hung up when we answered. The last few times you actually hear call center noise in back ground and a voice say hmm and then abruptly hang up. Tried to call back to yellat them to leave me alone but call can not be completed to the number on my id-TEXAS 972-232-0229

Conn's calling me all the time..someone add me as a reference and they call me day and night like i was the one owing the money...

Man called asking for my husband by title and last name. I asked "Who is calling", and he gave a very indignant "JOHN JENKINS" (as if I should know), and then I asked what this was regarding and he said "isn't this Black Belt Academy!?!", (we teach martial arts, but haven't used that name in YEARS)? I said "No it isn't" and he said in a very obnoxious tone "Can't you all teach me some Karate or Kung-fu!!??" as he was practically yelling at me. I hung up.

The best remedy for these unwanted harrassing calls is to let the phone ring for 4 times after that their automated computerized calling system gets confused and thinks no-one answered and they call someone else. Or simply pick the receiver up and hang up on them. Revenge is sweet !

they call from morning to evening. No one speaks. I called the number and it says this number is not longer in service.

We block these dirt bags, and route their number directly to voice jail. Needless to say they never leave a message to unveil their hidden intentions.  Screw 'em. Why even tolerate their rudeness?

So much for those do not call registry lists... government hard[ly] working for you...

For the readership's edification, Google is very pro-Socialist, and pro-lefty. Then you can appreciate their "no values" approach.

Google can be a bunch of real dirt bags as they have a 3rd party commissioned on their behalf to try to sell me me the opportunity to move my business webpage to the top of their search engine.

Remember folks, Al Gore has lots of stock in Google. Google isn't all that pristine as the wind-driven white snow. More like street slush!

Insofar as the pesky dopes at 972-232-0229 - we don't want nothing to do with you! Go pester Obama, keep him busy so that he can't screw up the country any further. Leave the rest of us alone, we've work to do.

Dead air here as well. How is it that it's a disconnected number but they JUST called from it? So irritating!!!

Got this call yesterday and the person asked how I was doing ect.  I was very busy working and asked them to cut to the chase and how could I help them.   Most of my work is from 3 party vendors.  
They hung up and I redialed the number it was disconnected or no longer in service.  I have recalled the number several times and gotten the same results.

Two calls already today to the business I work for and nothing but dead air.....Really irritates me when I waste my breath on saying the greeting. Next time I will just pick up and hang up.

I stated my company name.  No response.  Stated again.  They came back with an electronic voice that said, "Goodbye"   Weird.........

They called asking for the previous business owner. Since he's been gone for over two years and I say that they telemarketers always hang up. This time when asked for the previos business owner I stated "before you hang up he's no longer with our company and I'm the new business owner. How can I help you?" They Hung Up.

Businesses are bought and sold every day especially in this economy. They need to learn this if they want to sell to us.

I don't answer any calls out of state unless I know who it is. I figured this was a telemarketer  or something such.

When I answered, no one was there.  I heard one short beep then a recorded voice saying "goodbye".  I used to get these calls from them at home and now I get them at my place of business.  Annoying and moronic but harmless.

Replied "really" in a rude tone of voice and hung up on me when I told him our "Head of Marketing" was not available immediately.

Person called and said, AT&T is not doing a good job for you because when I tried to look you up under Roof Repair on Google you are not on the first page.  I said, "Really because I specialize in home remodels, so I'm not trying to be number one under roof repair, a roofing contractor would." He paused and said, "Oh".  "Well we can do something for else for you." I said, "No thanks".  Nothing more irritating than a sales person trying to tell you how to run your business, when they don't even know what your business does. Stop wasting my time.  Plus, AT&T doesn't run Google...idiot.
