Repeated calls with no messages left on the answering machine. When I pick up there is nothing there and it hangs up. Its calling almost daily.

I have received numerous calls from this number and I am on the DO NOT CALL list.

Yes, they called me too, talking about they were sponsoring a 'Film Festival' for underprivileged kids. So I asked her what was their organization about, and they said it was comprised of business owners under 40. I asked about a website, and there was none. So I asked for clarification on the use of the word 'Film Festival' but really what they meant is that they were taking underprivileged kids to Cinema 17. I asked about what organization they were sponsoring to come up with the 'underprivileged kids, and she hung up.

The young lady seemed flustered, and every time I asked her something, she had to put me on hold. They could at least get their script right.

These are all a telemarketer for charities (Plano Lions for one). Here is what they do. The robo system calls, then hangs up! If you answer then your number is flagged in their computer as a callback. Then they call, and call and call. They call at 9:01 in the morning, they call at 8:59pm. These computers are programmed to call at many different hours to see when you answer. Then they program them to call during those "answered" hours.

I hate these frigging things and I'm a programmer (I write computer programs that run payroll).

They get away with it because charities are exempt!

It's the Jaycees. They called and asked if we wanted to sponsor disadvantaged kids to go to a magic show. Seemed legit. I hate soliciting calls, but overall he was friendly.

I answered, heard some noise in the background, then click.

I am tired of this person calling me, the # is 972-253-3401, who ever they are, there very rude for hanging up on me and not talking!!!  I am trying to study for my online classes and when there call comes in it bumps me offline & makes me upset!!!

Got the call but no message left.  Tried to call back, it just kept ringing.  I believe that the number is only for only calling out, not for people calling back.

Unknown Name 972-253-3401 called today, the lady claimed she was with the Local Lewisville/Flower Mound Jaycees... I told her I was not interested and she quickly hung up. Rather rude. I guess I should of tried to suck information from her before I told her I was not interested... Oh well.
I wonder if this is the same folks that called and hung up yesterday when I answered?
The number from yesterday was Unknown Name 972-253-2858.
