I got a call today from 9724780300 - said they were with the fire department. I have block this number for any future calls.

Received a call from this number at 6:05pm (dinner hour). Picked up the phone and heard nothing. Called back the number after blocking my outgoing caller ID and I got a busy.  I permanently blocked this number for future calls. I am located in the Dallas area.  The area code of the incoming call is allegedly in this area.

This is my dads number and he never answeres numbers that he does

The house and I replied" she died" they said Ok I will
Try back later! I said heyyyy and they hung up! Very very frustrating!!!!
I call it back and it is a busy signal:) boy I would love to know who this is!!

Got a call from these jokers - claiming to represent a local Lion's Club doing a fundraiser to provide needy children with eyeglasses. I told her I needed new glasses, too, but couldn't afford them. She said goodbye. I think they have different scripts if a man or a woman answers the phone. Bottom line - a scam!

I have recieved calls from this number numerous amount of times, and they never speak...I just tried calling it back by blocking my number and they answered without saying a word, and then tried just hanging up....................I stayed on the phone for like 10 minutes as they tried to disconnect.......I so wished something could be done with people like this!  It is very fustrating!!!!

Just called , CID shows "community event". Didn't answer.

Just received a call from this number.  "Unknown Name"   Didn't answer.

I OFTEN GET CALLS SOMETIMES AFTER 9 P.M. THEY ALWAYS HANG UP OR NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE. CALLER ID SAYS ANAVAILABLE.

I answered and they hung up?
A search indicates a land line number in Irving, TX.  After some googling, I believe it is a company asking for money.  Similar numbers from the area 972-253-3401 and 972-253-6600.  Some say it's a fundraising organization.

I received a call from 972-253-6401.  I answered, but no one responded.  This isn't the first time it has happened with this number.  Anyone with any informaiton?

Someone from this # (972-253-6401) called me yesterday and didn't leave a message, and today someone called me from 972-253-3401 and didn't leave a message either.  Since the #'s are so similar, I thought that maybe they are related somehow.  Does anyone know?
