The people at this number give advice to people who have been found medically qualified to receive SSI benefits due to an injury or illness receiving benefits, to stop receiving said benefits and give medical advice to stop receiving medication coverage paid for by the government to control these medical issues and return to work and cover those medical issues themselves.  At no time doea the people provide information at the where the indivuals on the call inform anyone as to the state if the active medical license to give out such medical advice.  It is against many state laws for a person to give out medical advise without holding a license to practice medicine in that state, nonsense is the opinion of the people of this firm and they swear at people who confront them.

Ah, yes! Get up on a beautiful morning, start the day by reading some BS from a lying, scamming SHILL for a bogus debt collection outfit! Why is it that you can't get a real job, scumbag?
No one who is smart enough to find their way here is going to believe a single word that escapes from the mouth of a virulent little fraud like you! The first thing that people learn on this site is to DEMAND written, verifiable proof of a collectors claim be mailed to them. NOT e-mail or fax. And they quickly discover they're not going to receive that validation from you or "Erica".....because you ARE frauds!

I would like to say Erica Thomas made a believer out of me.  I was pulled over for running a stop sign and was told that I also have a warrant for issuing worthless checks.  So glad I had my paperwork.  The charges were dropped. I still got a ticket for running a stop sign. $120.50 DARN!!! If you writing bad checks, you better pay them folks before its too late.  Yes, she was a lil harassing by calling everybody I know til she got me but they just doing their jobs. They said it was a courtesy call and I'm so glad I got it.

My husband & I have been receiving harassing calls from this Erica Thomas for several months now on all of our contact numbers.  She claims to be from the Worthless Check & Fraud division calling about a very serious matter that is going to be released in our county/state that must be addressed as soon as possible. After calling back & pressing her for details, she hung up on me!

Found this number and a message to someone who does not even live in my home that they need to call back and reference a case number for some instance of fraud.  Judging by the background noise it sounded more like a call center than a legal office.  The person spoke with just enough slur that you can totally understand what they are saying, I'm betting this was to get you to call them back to clarify.

I got a call from this number stating they are a debt collector for MyCashNow. They did have the last four of my social and claimed to have my address and bank account info. Said I wrote a fraudulent check - but the account they referenced had been closed for two years. When i requested they mail me the legal documentation they stated that they would turn the matter over to my state legal office for further action. This number has called several times and never left a message. They also never gave the disclaimer: this is an attempt to collect a debt and all information given will be used for that purpose; or the recording disclaimer you often hear.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

?is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
?refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
?asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
?exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:

?Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.?Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.
?Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.
?Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.
?Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.

These people have been calling my Mom and somehow found my brothers girlfriends brothers #. I called them back and explained to them their collection methods were borderline harassment and if they needed to get in touch with me from now on to contact me BY MAIL ONLY. The woman aka 'Investigator Brooks' said the police would be by to pick me up. It's always the same with people like that. The second you warn them they're crossing the line with regards to their collection methods and ask to be contacted by mail, you never hear from them again.
