do you owe money? apparently some other numbers just like it are showing up on this site as capital finance. they call my work number for a person who hasn't worked here in a year.

I have been getting calls from these people all the time, 30 times a day, including nights and weekends. When I answer, there is no body there...???
Who are these people? Is this harassement? Where can I report them?

The call is Capital One Auto Finance.

Just got a call from this number. I've answered a few times but nothing. I accidentally answered just now as I was trying to send a text and nothing. I got a call not 3 minutes later after I had hung up.

This is Capital One as I have answered quite a few of their calls.  They keep calling my plant.  There are 40 people that work here so I seem to get calls for each and every one of them.  I also get a lot of junk mail at home for my son from Capital One.
Gee, maybe Capital One should rethink their operating costs for all the expenses of the junk-mail and wasted calls.  Maybe help out the customers they have instead of being a PIA to them.

it is possible that your number used to belong to somebody that did have a loan through cap one, they will never delete it!  the person that had my cell phone number before me has many collectors even law firms calling and i tell them every time that this is no longer her number, been going on for 2 years now, and every time they say ok and they will delete it, but never do because they keep calling!  they must think i'm lying and will not give up a way to contact her!

at least 3 calls per day from this number.....making me violently angry

I have had at least 2-3 calls per day from this number, I don't know who it is and they never leave a message. I think I am going to call the FCC.

its capital one auto finance. im waiting for them to repo my car. i dont want it anymore. i bought a new one.

Called at 830 am -- did not leave a message. My car is paid off, my credit cards are all current, and I don't have any Capital One accounts. If this turns out to be just the first of many calls, as reported by the posts above, I will report them to the FTC, the phone co, and the CA atty general. &@!$%! phone woke me up.

according tot ohters posts on the number that keeps calling it capital one auto finance. I do not have a car loan/payment through capital one auto finance, so i am not sure why they would be calling my cell. they don't call my house phone - just my cell, with out leaving a message. Both my home and call are registered with the do no call registry.

That is so bizzare I just googled this number too as I've been getting calls from that number.  Glad to know it's the car payment.  I'm only 3 days late.  Geeze They are calling to remind.  Bummer.

Funny...I just googled this phone number that I got on my cell phone and this forum came up.  Yes, it's Capital one Auto finance....my vehicle loan payment is due today...so they have started the "reminder" calls...today.

I never answer anymore, but they call here way too often. First one number,when it stops another immediately calls, then another number. They don't  answer,they never leave a message and these calls have been going on for months! I've left the phone off the hook on a call and it sounds like a fax.  They call from 8 am to 9pm and usually every 15 to 20 minutes.Sometimes I have to unplug the phone or leave to have peace. Every day of the week. Our number is on the Do Not Call Registry.
This happens when there are NO overdue payments and when did harassment and bullying become a condition of a loan whether overdue by even a day or not at all? If it were a legitimate debt collection attempt, they would speak or leave a message.

Capital One Auto Finance.

Someone at this number has been calling for a couple weeks now. I've answered a few times but no one says anything. One time a msg was left but was just music. There are some other similar numbers with the same area code and exchange #.

I got a call from this number. I think is Exxon calling about an overdue credit card payment of mine.

Numerous phone calls from this number....hangs up each time.

I've noticed a call from the number. No message was left.
