There should be a lawsuit against these people.I can totally understand a phone call every once in a while if you are more than a couple weeks behind on your payment..I was 1 day late and they called me 17 TIMES IN ONE DAY!! 2 of the calls were 15 min apart.I will NOT answer an incoming call on my cell phone with a long distance area code,are these people for real?? What do they think calling 20 times a day is going to do..I know what it does to me..it makes me wait even longer to make my payments.

You think THATS bad... they call my teenage daughter's cell phone and we don't even HAVE a loan through them!!!  They keep asking for this guy named "Jamal"- and apparently don't believe us when we say they have the WRONG NUMBER!!! Freakin' a$$wipes!!!  I set up their annoying "972" number to her Contacts List, and assigned it a "NO RING" tone.  At least she wont HEAR it constantly ringing until I can get something done about this ridiculous aggrevation!

They started calling June 2010 its now September 28,2010 I have exactly 264 phone calls from them!! I have talked to operators, told them i am not the person their looking for it is the wrong number please remove it. The response i have gotten have been incredible. I have been called a lier that i am who their calling for, a thief for not paying a bill threatened to be taken to court, called a b***h for demanding to speak to a supervisor! THIS COMPANY is out of control I can not take it anymore. Does anyone please know how to get the calls to stop. I swear I do not have CAPITAL ONE AUTO finance and never will... Just got a new car with the loan thru C1.  My first payment isn't due for 36 days and they are calling to remind me that my first payment is Oct 26th.  Duh!  I just signed the papers 9 days ago so I remember.  I got 4 calls today, how many more will I get for 36 days?!?!?!?!  Does anyone know how far in advance they want payments???

If anyone know of a class action lawsuit being filed against CapitolOne Auto, I would love that information.  These people call from approx. 8 30 am until approx. 8 45 pm every single day, every single hour and something needs to be done.  Would be nice if I could sue and  get $1000 for every excessive and un-neccessary phone call received.  I just recently made a late payment with all required late charges and that seems to be not good enough.  When a msg. is left,  it is from a recorder.  I am fed up with their practice and will never inquire any kind of loan from them again........thank you

I have a car loan thru capitol one, and I regret it.....I am approx 3 weeks late, but will be making a payment today.....it is really crazy and mentally sick how they call you from 9 am til 9 pm......my pholne ring constant and when I look at the number it's capitol one......I hope to never finance a car thru them again or anything else.....I will always remember this annyoning mess that I'm going thru with their constant calls like they are mad people.....I would understand if I were 3 months or more behind but gee wheez this is crazy......

We keep getting phone calls to my wifes cell phone number about a car loan.  We have not had a car for almost 10 years.  When I call this number back I cannot get a person to talk to and just get run around by thier telephone prompts.  My wife has answered the phone several times and asked not to be called any more.

FYI...Previously posted about these phone calls.  I do not have a loan thru Capitol One, they had the wrong number.  After them calling me about a million times (up to 17 times per day) and me telling them a million times, they had the wrong number, they made the mistake of calling me one more time.  I became very angry and told them that they were harrassing me.  I then threatened them with hiring an attorney and calling the Better Business Bureau if they so much as called me one more !@#$ time.  This seemed to stop the calls.

I financed a car through Capitol One last week and no sooner than I drove off of the dealerships lot I received 5 calls within an hour. My first payment is not due until the end of next month and they have called me at least 3 times a day everyday. No message is left.  Not only did they rape me on the finance charge, but now they are going to harrass me for 72 months!!?? B.S. I will be looking to refinance my vehicle TODAY

I'm on auto draft, so they have their money from me every month...but I am 4 payments away from paying the car off so maybe that's why they are calling???

Called me 2x's today. Had a auto loan with them up til June, made last full payment on May 29, on time. I knew I owed the measly 66 buck to them but figured it would automatically be drawn out of my account just like the last 60 payments had. Then they called me 2x's today and I did call the number they left back. "Leo" at capital not number one said it was 19 days past due. I told him I had no problem paying it however I assumed it would be taken from the account. So Leo says an automatic payment was cancelled May 21st, now by who is my question. I get no answer on that. So I told him I'll make the payment online. I go to make the payment and my payment account has been deleted. Again, who did this?! I haven't done anything to that account in the 5 years I've had it. It was required to be autopayed from checking or savings so I wasn't too worried about it. However I guess they just cancel your account and try and screw you on the last payment. I wrote them and told them I guess thats why you should stick with your local bank. Also told them I would be canceling their sh*t a** card too. I can get alot better then 23% through my local bank also and I would never get anything through capital one again.

I get calls from 972-378-4101 several times a day.  When you look up this number it is for an optomitrist in Dallas.  This has got to stop. Letting mass marketers call my cell which I pay for is a crime.  We should be allowed to prosecute.  Or at least beat them with a stick.

This is Capitol One Auto Finance Calling. They are calling because you are behind on your bill. I have found this out the hard way and have recieved between 10-15 calls per DAY! Not to mention the 2-4 voicemails they leave per day. Paid the bill, and the calls went away, but if i wasn't so close to the end of my loan, I would refinance just due to the harassment of the phone calls. I know I'm late, some person from India on the other end of the line doesn't seem to understand that I don't have the money today, but it IS COMING so leave me ALONE!

These people are the worst, i am so sorry that i have a car loan thru them . THey call constantly. Most of the time they do not leave a message. At this time i am behind in my payment, however i have already told them that they will get the payment on Friday, so why are you still calling. They are so annoying, I really want to refinance this car
