Missed this call and glad i did.  Calling looking for a family member.  Message just says urgent to call them back. Never say who they are just give their name and number.  Message wont be passed along.

Got a call from them, voice message left was blank.  Called the number back and was told they didn't have my information.  They said probably someone left my number as reference to get in an apartment.  No one I know is running out of apartment lease.  Weird.  And annoying.

Left rude message to have my daughter call them back - she put my name on some application he said.   She hasn't filled out anything recently that she can remember.

I received a call from the number 9724040808 asking for my brother's contact numbers and location. When I asked what is this in regard to, he replied "I can't disclose and disobey the law" and disconnected.

Just the CallerId and number.  Did not talk to anyone.

my brother got a call from this number, and they asking information about me saying that i was trying to get a house or apartment and i was using him as a reference. so i call the number and someone answered the phone i was not even on their computer thats what this person said,  so how they get my name, my number and info about me??? if it was important the company will call me back.....the person said.  what company and why this number appear on my caller id and no one knows who call me.

I just got a voice mail with the same number and the person said "my name is Ben and it is important that you call me back" and that's it and he didn't give me a last name or company he was calling from. I started to panic because I don't remember doing anything. But, after thinking about it I don't think its important since you guys got the same call.

Do***e bag debt collection agency. Called and stated that he would simply place charges on my credit cards, and knew which ones I had. Not good knowing these a**holes have all your credit info. After I hung up, he called back to argue and cuss some more. These folks may even sell or give away your identity.

I got a call from this number.  I asked what type of business they were and the operator only sttutered and said "I can't discuss that with you".         ?????????  Any business who is not hidding anything is more than willling to share what services they offer.

I just got the call from this number today on my cell phone at 12:39 pm.

It's good to be able to see this site so I can know not to answer and check it out first.

lease term had expired with proper notification.  Tim hung up on me when explained was never notified of any problem from the apts  will send him copies of letter and proof of 7 mo lease. He said doesnt matter. Very unprofessional, and close to threatening, refused to review facts of file.

Tim terminated call when given facts that apt lease ended 1/31/09.  This was turned over to collection in error.  Proper notification was given to apt. and co-signer not responsible.  Tim harrased co-signer at work, and was rude to family members.  Poor guy must work on commission only, and likes to bully people into paying.  With todays economy Tim must be starving.  Did leave a message for the supervisor, but dont expect any response.  Will send a certified letter today

tried to make an appointment to visit with me in my home for other reasons than collecting a debt.  Never mentioned who she was working for during our conversation.

this guy has been harassing me for almost 3 yrs. won't take money orders..only wants bank acct routing number...and I won't pay any other way.(states they will only take out what I authorize, though I know they will drain my acct.) Has harassed my mother..the lovely gentleman(not!!) I get is Mr Jones, who has been wrecking my life and making me misreable for 3 years almost.
They won't transfer my acct to anyone else, no supervisor. It's so horrible. I've never had a collector who wouldn't work out payment plans......granted they are upset because I do have a debt which I am embarassed about and this particular debt has been ruining my life, but they probably pchsd it for $0.10 on the dollar.
You would think they'd at least take a partial payment in money order form versus NOTHING at all!

I received several calls and when I called the number back I was asked to disclose my telephone number. When I did not want to give my private, unlisted phone number out, the receptionist was extremely rude and placed me on hold several times. She had a severely bad attitude and a chip on her shoulder the size of Texas and I asked that she put it her attitude in check as they had called me not the other way around. I knew that I did not have any late or outstanding debts and wanted to know who they were and why they were continuously calling my home.

After insisting that she transfer me to a manager or supervisor to no avail, I gave up and called back the next day and got a real human being on the phone and I was successful in reaching a management employee of this collection agency. I was told that they were looking for the daughter of an old friend of mine. Evidently she used my telephone number as a reference and when she failed to pay they began to call and harass me. I was successful in getting my name and telephone number from their calling list.

Beware of giving out your telephone number to anyone! I could not believe that they were harassing me because the daughter of an old friend had used my telephone number as a reference.

The practices of this company are absolutely and downright illegal. My telephone number and name were removed only when I threatened to place a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

If they are calling you, it is most likely that someone used you as a reference and then defaulted on payments.

I know collectors are bad and stuff but let me be the devils advocate and ask how you know the people rip you off when you give them your credit card or check number if you tried to pay them and they wouldn't let you?

I never called no collector that wouldn't take my money.

Got a call from this number but it was the wrong #.  I gave them my phone number and they stopped calling.

If he said he'd rather not take the payment so it remains on your credit record, then I'd maintain that the debt is forgiven. (Just my opinion.) Regardless, he's broken the law by threatening to damage your credit rating. If I were you, I'd immediately retain a consumer law attorney and sue the hell out of them. (Plenty of attorneys work on contingency and would, I'm sure, be very interested in exploring your options in this matter.)

this guy is a bigger jerk than most collectors (and that's saying alot!!)

I'm trying to pay a bill and he's telling me he won't take it... he'd rather leave it on my credit tot punish me.  Who does he think he is?

It's funny because I'd gladly pay the bill, but they won't accept it.  As soon as the debt changes hands again, maybe the new collectors will accept my payment....   by the way, never give post dated checks or your checking acct info over the phone to one of these guys.  They will litteraly take as much money out as they can and call it "extra collection fees"  When you try and dispute the charge, they'll win every time because you owe a debt and then gave them your bank info.  they'll lie about it every time.  Trust  me don't do it, they'll say whatever they have to in order to get a credit card # or your banking info.
