Call once daily, but never leave a message as to what the call is referencing, just gives a 1 800 number and a ref #.  When called back was a collections agency.  Sounded like the call center was in India.  They refused to acknoledge the laws regarding not calling you again if you specify not to.  The gentleman was quite persistent about getting me to pay for the outstanding balance, even though this account had been settled with the original company a year and a half ago.

They say they are "Glacial Star Group" and I spoke with "Mark Smith" (clearly Indian w/ a fake name) and gave the call back number of 877-806-3160.   He asked for me and I gave a fake name just to get that much info...what a schmuck!

They called here well after 5PM and told my boss, who has a definately male Italian name, that they were from Pipeline Data Services and that we owed them 99.44 since 2003.  When I called them this morning the guy who answered said "Law offices of...." but stopped himself and then said can I help you?  I told him I was returning a call from John Anderson and he put me on hold.  When someone finally picked up he asked if I was (male Italian name). I said do I sound like a man?  He said "I need to speak with (male Italian name)."  I told him I was office manger & accounting and he would have to speak with me or no one at all.  Then he mumbled something that sounded like..."we'll just continue with other activities".  After checking out Pipeline Data Services on Google I called them at 9am  their phone message said they were open from 8:30 to 6 and to call back during those times. Needless to say I left them a loud message!

Called and hung up.... They have done this more than once

Thank goodness for caller ID. I have never bothered to answer calls if I do not recognize the number... I have received several calls from this number but they are wasting their time.

I received a call from 972-408--0668. They knew my name and were informing me that because I pay my taxes and never filed bankruptcy that the government was going to give me $5000. He tried to verify my information, so I told him if he was indeed from the government than they already have my information and know where to send the money...and I told him not to call back and hung up. Some kind of scam...beware!

I got a call from 972-408-0688 saying they worked for the federal government.Middle eastern accent..give me a break.claiming I was going to receive 5k for paying my taxes and bills on time and i haven't filed for bankruptcy..they said there was no catch and I had to have a reference # to receive my $ from a western union..I flipped out at this point and chewed him up and down..we will see if they are dumb enough to call again.

No one answered when I picked up, so I hung up. This gets old quick.

Got a call on my cell phone. When i answered there was voices and static but no person answering and then hung up.

Indian accent - wanted to speak to business owner regarding a "business proposal".  Yeah, right.  Hung up on them.

Got a call from this number today- I answered it but no one replied- I'm storing the number in my phone as "do not answer"

I work at a restaurant. I picked up and it was a guy with an Indian accent. He said something about a lease..I thought it was some kind of scam when I told him that there was no manger around and he kept asking for my name when I was just a worker. I gave him a fake name and he hung up.

We received a voice mail message from #972-408-0668. When we listened to the message, all we heard were two gunshots.

He sounded foreign and I could hear people in the background making calls.  He asked for Shawn.  He said Shawn gave my number to him as a reference.  He wouldn't tell me what this was about, but wanted me to call them back if I knew Shawn.  I also have another number that keeps calling but they say nothing 435-867-8783 and an additional number I don't have.  What in the world is all of this.?

Yes he claimed to file law suit against me and I have no idea what he was talking about plus I had a hard time understanding him.
