Who is it?

This company appears to be making prank calls or someone doesn't know how to dial. They have called my number a few times, always hang up and never leave a message.

They called once back in Aug 2010. Did not leave a message. I assumed they dialed the wrong number.
They called again today. No message etc. I wonder if they make a habit of calling random numbers just to mess with people. Or maybe someone has fat fingers. I have no outstanding debts so it beats me why they called my number.

I received a call yesterday from a woman asking to speak with my husband (gave his name), who was a work. The woman making the call sounded young; she said that she was calling from a law office and was trying to get in touch with my husband. I asked what the call was about. She said that if I was the wife, she could tell me a little more. I could kick myself, but I gave her my birth date when she asked for it. I have to really watch myself with calls of this nature. I'm such a sucker. The man that she was looking for, however, had a different middle initial and when I told her that, she said that maybe it was the son. Finally, she asked for my husband's social security number. I finally drew the line with that one. She said that she probably had the wrong person. WATCH OUT for these people. Don't be like me, just hang up on them.

Called me trying to get my father's contact information. When I inquired why, he told me it was personal. I told him not good enough. Again I asked him why, he refused. I told him unless I get more than "personal" I was not going to continue the call. He hung up.

This number called me on Friday 7-30-10. On my caller ID it said Private number. My child answered the phone. It was plainly obvious they were speaking to a child. They were grilling her for information. She hung up the phone. I pressed *67 on my phone and returned the phone call. They said it was the LAW OFFICES OF MICHAEL SCOTT. I hung up. They called back a few hours later. Left a message. Still not sure why they are calling me.

They called me and wanted me to confirm my birth date and other info.  I would not give it to him and he would not tell me the info on who they were looking for or what they wanted.  He would not admit they were a collection agency and only said it was a law firm.

An idiot called from this phone number requesting to confirm my name. IT SUCKS. They are so stupid to believe we will fall in their tricks.
