This women called asked "are you the Owner, God Bless You how are you doing I'm with CPP," she never told me what CPP was. Although she was professional, she said "we will be in the area Monday around 11:00 and would like to stop by to inspect the property." I thought it was legit. I did some research and found out this was a scam. I left a message for them to remove my phone number from their list.

Keep getting calls from this number. Caller ID says "Unknown Caller". Have never answered it, as I do not answer numbers I don't recognize or know. Or if there's no name or business listed.

Since last September, I received 34 calls at home from this number and 972-428-5200, which is obviously the main number. I finally called them back and told them it was a private home with no business, that I am on the Do Not Call List, and that I wanted my number removed. They have since called twice more.

I was being overwhelmed by calls from this number at my home based business. I did file the complaint with the FTC yesterday. Normally I don't answer numbers I don't know but today I DID answer when this number appeared. She asked to speak with the owner/co-owner. I asked "why?". She began the speech I knew was coming from the complaints above, about how there were going to be reps in my area dealing with credit card charges...and I stopped her right there. I told her I'd filed a complaint against her telephone number with the FTC, googled the number to see they are possibly a scam and to think about it before calling my number again as I didn't mind filing a complaint EVERY time their number popped up on my caller id. I then hung up. Yesterday and today there has been one call from them every hour.

I am getting calls at my home (an unlisted number but one we used on paperwork to set up our business over 5 years ago). They have called every day for the past week, never leaving a message. I picked up after reading these and told them to remove me from their call list. Hopefully this stops.

I tried to call them back, but the phone disconnects after 4 seconds, so phooey. I don't know who they are or how to make them stop calling me!

Got a call from First Am Pmt, demanding to talk to the owner (me). Then she kept wanting to go over the business address. I kept asking her who she was and what business she was calling from. She said a person representing Visa and MasterCard is going to be here tomorrow afternoon to go through overcharges from Visa and MasterCard. I got very suspicious considering tomorrow afternoon is Christmas Eve (I don't think a normal business would be setting appointments for Christmas Eve). Am thinking maybe she wants to see if no one will be here so she can rob our place. I told her it sounds like a scam and hung up on her. I'm thinking to call the police.

These people have called us 4 or 5 times in the past 2 days. We have told them not to call and to take us off their call list. Nothing seems to get through to them.

Caller id herself as Savannah Lewis, calling for a payment processor for Visa/MC. She said she represents merchant services for a company with HQ in Dallas, TX, but they have operations all over. This persons has called my telephone dozens of times for several weeks - must be computer dialing. She asked for the owners of the business. Instead of answering, I asked her who she was, where, etc. Eventually, she terminated the call when I indicated that no owner was available to talk to her - she refused several requests to leave a call back number.

I got calls from them too. I finally told them my company no longer accepts credit cards because the credit card companies are double dipping the consumers and companies. I also got a little "crazy" with them and said credit cards are a mark of the beast!
That got the calls to stop. We still accept credit cards of course, but that crazy statement got the calls to stop!

Called our business and asked for owner. Identified myself as co-owner and she said that they were calling about visa/mastercard charges to business owners. I don't have a good feeling about this call. Is it a scam

Can someone contact the FBI to investigate this possible SCAM? I am so sick of getting calls nearly everyday!! I'm ready to file a lawsuit real soon!!

This company has been in business over 20 years obviosly it is legit!!!!. The company would of already been out of business if not. its been around to long. People keep complaining about them but who doesnt complain! about telemarketers. Telemarketing is an actual job, and its income does take care of families, pay rent buys, groceries, pay the car payment or house payment. It is a real job! Were not just TELEMARKETERS!!!!! get over it and get used to this world. Everyone in America gets telemarketing callS!!!! Adjust to it. Or are you not from America and dont know the drill of telemarketing
| Alisha 2010-07-28 14:40:54 Telemarketer |
So much like everyone else on here, our office got a call from some lady from Trans Tech Merchant Group who can lower my cost on credit card transactions as I am being over charged. I thought it was a telemarketer, but she wanted to speak to the owner so I transfered her. While he was on the phone with her I decided to do a telephone check. I always check telemarketers so next time they call I just won't answer. I got on this website and checked out http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/180/RipOff0180174.htm
and http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/145/RipOff0145563.htm thanks to Groundsman, from his posting. I read that they stop by and claim they were "in the area" after verifying your address. I had hoped my boss hadn't given them any information, but he had despite my repeated warnings of not telling any telemarketer ANYTHING over the phone. I told him that they might show up the next day. Low and behold the next day at 10:00 someone from Trans Tech Merchant Group did! Do not tell them anything if they call, just hang up. Now I am sure they will call again and again since the showed up and know we are here. ugh! And I am filing something with the Federal Trade Commission about them, and the BBB.
