This guy called my grandmother.  He said "this is your grandson (grandmother said they used my correct name).  I have something to tell you.  Promise you won't tell anybody.  I'm in Las Vegas and my friend just died.  I got arrested and broke my nose. I'm in jail and need money to get out."  Fortunately she has seen enough on TV to know this was not legit and hung up on the guy.  She said he had a Hispanic accent.

Caller said, Hello Grandma.  I said, who is this.  He said, this is Chris, your oldest Grandson - don't you remember me?  I said I do not know anyone named Chris.  He hung up.

I have caller ID & it said the call was from CITY OF COPPELL.  I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK & IT JUST RANG WITH NO ANSWER!!!

The caller said that this is your only grandson....My friend died and I am in San Francisco I need money to fly home...My mom told them that she was NOT going to help them and she hung up.  

Received call from "My favorite Grandson" (I don't have any) say he was in car accident in vegas, broke his nose, that's why he sounds funny--needed my help, he was allowed one phone call.  I told him to have his lawyer call mine.  Got call 3 mins later saying "Grandpa you hung up on me" -- My response--"1.  You said you were only allowed one call, this is your second.  2. What is you mother's name?"  --with that the line went dead.

This Number called my grandmother today and said that he was her only grandson (my brother was sitting right next to her) and that he needed bail for being in jail after a car wreck (apparently not the only time,see above). Actually had a guy call to pretend to be a lawyer to talk to her. Hopefully I never find out who called her.

I don't answer phone calls from "unknown number", "private number", or phone numbers I don't recognize.

If a number is listed, I check online to see who owns the number and what people have said about it.

You all are smarter than me.   Sounded like my Grandson and used the right name.  Told me he was in to Los Vegas for a friends funeral and was now in jail after car wreck.  Said he had broken nose and then something about money and that is when I hung UP.

Said, "Hi Grandpa."  I said he had the wrong number.  He replied, "That's O.K. Grandpa."

Called me grampaw, told me he was wearing a thong.

In wisconsin here said was grandson. I asjed where he was. Said he was in bumcuckvikke next to uranus. Sounded lime a young n****r.

This number called me and he said he was my oldest grandson, Michael. I don't have a grandson named Michael

This caller said, Hi Grandma, I have cancer and I'm going to die.

This number called my grandma saying it was her grandson named Matt? She doesn't have a grandson named Matt?
