Getting calls daily at work from the Patriot Oil and Gas company. They will not leave a number and they are rude. The caller ID # is 972-470-9893.

My friend you are quite wrong... in the oil & gas business you are not allowed to advertise.  These are called Private Placement for a reason.  Are many of them over the top??? of course, but to say that "no legitimate investment is ever marketed this way" is simply showing your ignorance.  Do us all a favor and ask your congressman to change the laws to allow advertising...everyone else can...why cant they?

They seem to call every day - what a nuisance, they will not leave a message and we are DNC list but we are a medical business so we have to leave 1 line not on list - wish they would stop

I get a call from Forrecco every business day at 1:30 ct and I ignore it.  After coming across this website and reading the comments I will make sure I answer tomorrow.  I love a good phone confrontation.  I'll have them investing in my business when I am done.

Just got a call from this company - FORRECCO.  Asked for my husband.  (My husband died 6 months ago.)  I said "who is calling?"  He said "who is this?"  I said " you called me, who is this?"  He said "Sid Goldman" then he said "never mind, I'll never call again" and hung up.  I have noticed many calls from this number and this is the first time I have answered.

this number called me at 11:11 AM, PST.  The cd said it was Forrecco.  I don't know this company nor Patriot Energy/   I am on the DNC list.

This number called at about 12:26pm I thought it was a company that I do business with so I answered it and someone waited 10 seconds and then hung up,
I called back and it just rang and finaly disconected and I got a busy signal.

Received call for my boss, I said he wasn't in, and offered his voice mail. Caller said "well when will he be in?", I said I wasn't sure, he said "isn't there anyone there who can answer a simple question? You don't know anything, do you?"; I repeated that I'd be happy to transfer him to voice mail and he said "what did you say before that?", I told him I didn't say anything, he said "perhaps you didn't, then it must have been gas escaping from your person". What a rude $#@&*!

I don't answer -- don't know anyone in Dallas, TX, but have gotten calls from this number twice in the last two days, both around noontime.

Called today and asked for Mr.Boss . HE was very rude!

Calls everyday.  When I call back, no answer.  And, yes it is around noon.

Forrecco appeared on the caller ID....the number associated with this name was 972-470-9893.  Asked for the owner by his first name (as if they are best friends).  So glad I found this info.

The people at Forrecco seem to have a learning disability.  They call every morning asking to speak to me.  Whoever answers the phone says "hold on" and then quietly sets the phone down.  Sometimes they stay on the line for as long as two minutes.  I highly recommend this approach to telemarketers.  Waste their time just like they waste yours.

Please stop the call I have to small kids and the phone ringing wakes them up.  This company has called me two time comes up FORRECCO ON MY CALLER ID..............

I have been getting a call from the same # for about a month now and just ignore it.  I decided to google the name that comes across my phone and I found this website.  After reading the posts on here I cannot wait until the idiot calls tomorrow.  I will leave their ears bleeding.

Lying scammer.  NO LEGITIMATE "INVESTMENT" IS EVER MARKETED THIS WAY.  Only scams.

It's not a scam, but it is a company trying to sell you on oil and gas investments.   The company actually owns oil rigs and sells interests in the oil that these rigs may or may not produce.  It is speculative investing.  They're a legit company regulated by the SEC.  However, the callers are telemarketers for the brokers that work in their office.

haven't been home to actually speak to anyone from this number but they have called twice already and have not left a message - they better hope they don't get me if this is some scam phone call!

I have several calls from this number in the bpast couple weeks.  As my calls are screened I never answer the phone but the name Forrecco and 972-470-9898 appears on in the system.  He never leaves a message.  I do not call those who I do not know so this is a great waste of time and effort for whomever.  I am pleased to know that others feel as I do.

A guy named Matt called and asked to speak to my boss, by name. I asked him for his name and the name of his company. The company is Patriot Group. I told him that he was not avail and would he like to leave a message. He said no it was personal and that he would call back. Now I have this number by the phone as one of those "don't put thru" numbers.

TIME TO CHANGE THE TELEMARKETING LAWS.  Complaining on this site and to the Do Not Call site does not work. The existing laws are full of holes and have no teeth.  Go ahead and tell Do Not Call, but also WRITE your U.S. Senator and Congressman and give them names and phone numbers and dates like the 214 I listed below. Hung up on my business answering machine.  I have been getting similar calls for weeks from people that use my first name and rudely instruct me to get a pencil. They ask questions about my investments and get smart when I tell them I don't talk to strangers and ask for i.d.  Are there people that actually take investment advice from strangers with hot tips?  Anyway, TIME TO CHANGE THE TELEMARKETING LAWS. This site cannot change the law.  Write your U.S Senator and Congressman and complain. Do Not Call does not work.  Supply names and numbers of pests.  See my list over over 200 accumulated in a short time and I only record about 1 of  because I get so many and many have called multiple times every month.

A "SAL GOLDMAN" called 2 times to my office today. I answered the 2nd call unknowing that this SAL, KEITH, WHOMEVER, called earlier and spoke to one of my staf people. His MO is similar to the above:
1. asked to speak with _________.
2. I said she is not in presently. Asked then...'Who is calling?"...
3. He called himself "SAL GOLDMAN." And then said he will just call back later......
4. Since we get solicitation calls from time to time on this phone line I knew this was a sales rep, broker, a pest....
5. When I asked him if she was expecting his call, he said...'how would she know that???" Now I knew his guy did not have all engines firing in the head,but he said he will call back, I told him I will be getting the call anyway, to which he wanted my name - I gave him my first name only and that I was the manager.  He said "thank you" in a not nice tone to which I hung up.
