Hang up on u when u say to leave u alone

I just got the umpteenth call from this number, too. I'm goint to file a complaint with the FTC.

They keep calling and the caller ID says I.  They never leave a message and we never answer the phone for this number.  They call every day all different times of the day and night.  Doesn't matter who they are or what they want as they are not going to get anything out of us.  I truly don't understand why you register your number with the Do Not call registry and still receive calls from such unsolicited people or associations.  This is truly not right.  Another thing I would like to add is when you have a private number and pay for it, they still have access to it, yet you cannot find out who these people are.  How in the world is that fair or right?  These people should be held accountable for their actions and all the others who do the same thing.  That is my opinion though.  

Received a call from this number and noticed that it wasn't a NJ area code, so I was hesitant to answer. I answered and with a firm voice he asked for the head of the household, told him he was not available. He tried hanging up and I asked him who he was and gave me a very common name saying he was with the New Jersey State Trooper Association. Knew he was BSing me and refused to leave a message, and hung up in my face.

Received a call from this number,a short time ago,which I did not recognize,or answer. There was a message asking for my deceased husband.......not cool!

SAME HERE....Just an " I " showed up....didn't answer it at all....

This number has called repeatedly asking for me by my first name.  Sounds like a computer voice to me, because they say "Is Julie there?" when my machine picks up instead of leaving a normal message on a machine.  Only the letter "I" shows up on my caller ID, so I know not to answer.

same as all the others. what can be done about this B>S>

Numerous repeated calls go unanswered, so I found out who it is by accessing this site.  Grateful to know.

this is a scam. didn't answer, won't answer, don'r call again. this kind of activity is against the law. do something about it.

Caller ID only showed the capital letter "i".  No message left on VM.  

04/22/2014 1:16 PM.  They called again and left a VM asking for me by first name. I did not answer nor did I call them.

972-497-2629 just called me again.  I went ahead and answered this time.  Guy on other end claimed to be affiliated with the Texas State Trooper Association (is there even such an origination?).  I told him he was full of s***.  Then hung up on him.  Trying to use our law enforcement to guilt trip into fooling us to steal our money , I felt like he didn't deserve being talked to politely.

I've had SEVERAL calls like the one listed above (police funds), but this one has never left a message (I let all unknown calls go to voice mail). Just annoying to receive Unwanted calls when we are on DNC lists.... DNC should be just that. . and no exceptions!

Caller ID shows  'I' only....

Just received a call ffrom this number. They claim to be a charity that provdes funds to families who lost their husband/wife while serving on a police force. I told him i do not donate over the phone. He then proceeded to tell me he could take a lower donation like $25.00 down to 18.00 if I donate by a credit card or debit card (Is he Bs'ng me, Credit card or worse, debit card, over the phone to an unknown charity (even if it is a charity, which I doubt) No way!!)

I keep getting calls from this number.  It comes up Dallas TX.  I did answer two times no one on the other end.  Just got a call from that number let it go to voice mail, never left a message?

972-497-2629 just called me.  And like the others that posted he called me by name, using a tone of voice as if he knew me.  I got a friend to call the number back.  Got a child's voice instead wanting me to leave a message.  A reputable fund raiser wouldn't operate this way imo.    

That is fake.....

Same as above: a man called out my first name on voicemail as if he knew me. I googled the number since I assumed it must have been a person who knows me; thankfully I found this site & learned what's what.

Received  several calls from this number in recent days. When it comes up on caller ID  I don't pick up the phone.

Got a call from this number my wife answered and said I wasn't home and they hung up

Not home at time of this number calling. My fathers nurse is and answers the phone as part of help she gives our family. I want this number to not call me again! When our nurse answers they act as if they know who I am in referring me to with my first name. When asked by family nurse if they would leave a message for me, they say no, that they will be calling me again! Why not leave a message since they call me by my first name since they act like as if we're on a friend type basis by using my name?? Only know I will not be returning any calls to this number in which I obtained from my caller ID!!! I do not I reinterate do not call my fathers home phone number again!!!!! Got a call this morning from this number, vm calling my first name to pick up the phone. I didn't answer and called the number back to a fundraising affiliation.
