Over 30 phone calls within the last 3 weeks. I consider this to be harassment. I will never use a physician employment search engine again. I guess the guy that I talked to was offended that I was busy and asked him not to call anymore. Wow, who would have guessed that a doctor might be busy. I have received retaliation crank phone calls today I believe from his little friends.

Martin Fletcher is a nurse recruiting company. Look it up on line. Here are their numbers. Call them and ask them to take you off their calling list.

I used to work there and asking them to take you off their list will not help.  They are instructed not to take anyone off the list.  The only way to avoid their calls is to change your number.

I also got a weird number from 972-501-5600 and am not sure why they been calling me and am afraid to pick up or worst call back since it could be foreign and will be charged for international charges !!

This number 972-501-5600 is from a Physician Recruiter company (Martin Fletcher, as stated above) - they probably have the wrong number on file for some physician.  They recruit physicians to new job postings, and they can be VERY persistent.  Just don't answer it, or answer it and tell the caller that this is the wrong number for the physician they are trying to reach, and they should change it for you.

This is indeed Martin Fletcher and all calls made from this recruiting firm shows up 972-501-5648.  Although everyone has their own phone number, it still shows up 5648.  There are 100's of people at that company and they are very reputable in the industry.

So these guys called me a few times one day, yeah, im a nurse.  Well I didn't want the job this guy was offering but he sounded incredibly hot.  I had to see him in person.  I called him back to meet up, you know, "talk some business."  That boy threw me down and pounded me like i was in the 7th grade all over again.  

If they call you, I would answer.  You may just want to buy them lunch.

I'm an Internist. These worthless recruiters always say they will treat me good in Hibbing Minnesota or some other small rinky dink town. Who wants to go THERE? Probably the radio plays the theme from "Convoy" all day and you need to marry a Sheep!!

received a call, but no one was there when I answered, so I checked the number to see who was calling (I know people in that area code) and found this message board.

I work for the company that these people are complaning about.  Its a generic line that autopopulates when we call.  If you make your resume viewable by employers on the internet then thats how we get your number.  Maybe all these people that complain should answer their phone for once instead of taking time out of their day to post mumbo jumbo comments about some random phone number.   Get a life!

So what are you doing here?  Shouldn't you be looking for work?

Maybe everyone posting a reply on this website should call a recruiter and ask for a real job.  Apparently you have too much time to sit around and find a website like this where you can post a message concerned about someone trying to scam you from a number you don't recognize.  Find a recruiter for your field of expertise and get a real job.  Contribute to society instead of trying to tear it down.

they called me, I diod not know who they were but i answered.  It i a staffing firm called Martin, Flecther.  Shockingly, they told me a bout a full time job, locally, where I could work day shift, no weeknds, allow me to spend way more time with my family, and a$3 an hour rais.  I know wht you guys are saying about unsoliceted calls, but I toook a chance, answered the cal, and can't thank them enough for reaching out to me.

I did some research on them in the past because I am a recruiter also for an IT company.  They pull resume's from their internal database, and the job boards like Monster and Google.  If your resume has ever been up in the past they have your number and will probably call you because Healthcare professionals are in high demand right now.  If they are not leaving messages that is an error on their part, otherwise if u are ever on the market (present or future) they could probably help, otherwise tell them no thanks.IT IS NOT A SCAM and they are a $40 million a year company so they are doing something right.  Also, they work like everyone else so dont knock recruiters for doing their job.  In a struggling economy they may be the ones that help feed your family one day.

I did not post my resume to them, so does anyone know what website they are getting our information from?  I would like to remove my resume from there.
