It would be a shame if someone were to put the phone number as the contact number for an add either giving away a free pony or something of value at a very cheap price.  Then the hoards would call the number and this Shiti person would get the same type of abuse.  Kalling Karma.....

Several years ago, I took a telephone survey about energy.  I took the survey because I support clean energy development and wanted to voice my opinion about the issue. Big mistake! The survey company sold my contact information to dozens of oil & gas investment companies and I've been receiving calls for years from many, many companies as far away as Australia.  I tried to get in touch with the survey company to retract my contact info.  I also reported this deceptive telemarketing to BBB.  It's been a while since I've received calls but I've started getting them from the 972-509-9116 on a daily basis.  No message, no one there if I pick up...

Thanks for the suggestions.  I called the home phone with no results however, I called the office phone at 972 509 9100 and chose customer service option 1.  Spoke with a women who of course insisted she had no knowledge of any abusive calling system and assured me she would send my number over to someone who could remove it from any active list they may have.  I advised her to google the original number to read this list of offended recipients from their calling practice.  I also asked about Praveen whom she insisted has not worked there for years???

Calls every day, shows up as Sethi Financial.  When calling Sethi Financial (972-509-9100) you never get through.  Sethi Financial according to: http://investing.businessweek.com/research/st ... capId=223768767 is located in Plano and owned by Praveen Sethi.  A Praveen Sethi lives right outside of Plano at 427 Walnut Dr, Murphy, TX 75094-3327 and his phone number is 972-422-7592.

I have not called this number to verify but will be calling when they call again tomorrow.

Got a call from them today - Sethi Petroleum.  Put him on hold, when i went back he was gone.  We're not interested....

I am being harassed at my work number by whoever is behind this number. They call about twice a day and they hang up.

Oil & Gas investing scam.

First time getting a call from these bozos.  Asked for my boss but couldn't pronounce his name properly.  I kept asking what he wanted, he finally said "investments".  Yeah yeah yeah.  And he'll sell me a bridge while he's at it.  Put him on hold while I chatted with a co-worker.  Then got back on and told him my boss is NOT INTERESTED and to remove his name/number from their call list.

I doubt he will but his number is now on my bogus caller list.  

Sigh ----  a lot of mean rotten people out there.

This must be a scam company. They call 2 or 3 time each day. If you answer the phone they hang up. If you do not answer phone they call back later. When you call them, they give you the option to be placed on their do not call list. However, when you pick that option they hang up on you. They also give you an option to speak to customer service, when you pick that option they hang up on you. VERY strange company. Very annoying. Please note the # 972-509-9116.

I keep receiving calls from this number.  I have pressed the #2 button to have my number removed from their calling list, but they're still calling my house.  When I tried to have my number removed again, I was told by a recorder that their message box if full.  I receive several calls a day, everyday! I feel I am being harassed by this company and I do NOT want them to call me again!

I am sick of the calls from this number, do NOT fall for the press 2 to be taken off the call list. As a previous comment states, "ALL mailboxes are full". When I googled the "company" calling there is actually a BBB report filed against them for scamming an elderly man.   STOP CALLING!!!!!!!!

Answer the call, put them on hold, and let them waste their time talking to themselves.

Got a call from this number today at around 11:30 AM.  My caller ID showed "Office Manager".  I didn't answer the call, and there was no message left.  Recently I've been receiving many calls from oil pipeline and drilling companies looking for investments, and after reading other peoples posts here, I'm going to assume this was the same kind of call.  Glad I didn't answer it.

I have received repeated calls from this number, showing Office Manager on the caller ID  --  there is never anyone on the other end, but today I called the number back (after determining that area code 972 is domestic) and hit 2 to get my number off the list.

I asked this guy his name, and he said "Brian Caldwell" of "Caldwell Resources".  When I asked where they were based, he wouldn't answer, so I hung up.  My caller ID said "Sethi Financial".  They seem to be based in Plano, TX (from googling the number).
