I've gotten a few calls from this number per day all week.  I don't answer and they don't leave VM, so I doubt they're reputable.

As a side note, legitimate credit card companies will NEVER call you up and ask you for your credit card number!!!

If that ever happens, you know it is a scam.

They started calling this morning asking for a Matt Rand. I have recieved numerous phoone calls asking for a Matt Rand ever since i got my cell phone number. Each time they call i tell them they have the wrong number and they apologize and hang up only to call back in a couple of hours. Coincidently the first call was at 8:45 this morning. Who ever they are they are not a company. I recorded the phone call and after listening to it several times could make out voices in the background and they were not talking about business. If they call you play a prank or something and scare them so they don't call back.

They call every hour of every day.  This phone number is a corporate number, not my personal number.  I answer and there is silence.  I call back during the day and they say that they are closed and their hours are 8AM to Midnight.  Their autodialer is calling people even when there is no-one in the office to answer the connected calls!

I think its Chase but they are just scamming people. These people have called me several times with a new scheme each time to get me to give them money. One time they said I was behind in payments. I am not!! Then, they said I had to sign up for direct pay with my checking acct. So, it probably is Chase trying to scare people out of money. Scare tactics people!!!

Am getting betwwen 20-30 calls a day from chase.  they hiked my interest rate from 8.99 to 31.99 with no missed or late pays ever. I have a pmt arrangement with them that is current but seems that not good enough....they have to harass people too.  Have reported Chase to the BBB, FTC and Tx AG office.

Calling my cell phone which I carry for emergency calls ONLY> I am really upset at this company. My cell as well as every other number associated with my family and are all registered on the National Do Not Call Registry. Why isn't someone doing something about these calls?  It isn't a collection because I owe no one.

Yes, I know I get these calls all the time, and now I know it's from Wamu/Chase.

Considering how rude a Chase collector was to me a few weeks ago?  I'm ready to file bankruptcy just because of that.  I explain my situation every week to multiple credit card companies, and this asshat says, "Have you thought about getting a second job?"  Uh, haven't you been listening?  I haven't gotten a FIRST JOB since having to move back to my home state because of family issues.  I'm making less than 1/2 what I made when I got the credit cards.  Bite me.  LMAO.  He tells me, "There is no reason for yelling, ma'am."  I told him, "Yes, there is, you're being an a***ole" and I hung up on him.

I didn't hear it ring, but they called me at around 8:30am. It wouldn't surprise me if it was Chase. They were calling me from another number half a dozen times a day. As a rule, I don't pick up numbers that I don't recognize.

Not sure how they got my cell number.  These calls started pouring in about two weeks ago.
They call about twelve times a day!!  I'm pretty sure that is an excessive amount of times to call in a day even for collectors.  Especially since I am not delinquent by any means. Would be nice if they removed my number from whatever list I'm on and stopped calling.

I kept getting calls from this number and when I answered there would be a long pause then nothing.  I called the # back and they asked for my acct # and I told them no.  They asked for the number that they had been calling and I gave it to them.  They were able to pull up the information by my phone number and they said that they were calling about my wife's acct.  Her account is the only one that we have with them that has not been pd because we are under dispute with them.  So I didn't see anything that suggested scam.  But I guess you never know these days; my suggestion would be to just call the card issuer directly.

I have been getting these calls 10-15 times a day for months.  I keep my cell phone turned off for this reason, and have an agreement in place with WAMU to pay off an OLD, CANCELLED card.  No one says anthing if I do happen to answer my cell.  Let them keep calling.............It's a scam.

I just started getting calls from this number last night at 9:58pm and now have had 3 attempts so far.  My accounts are up to date so there is no reason if it was Chase to be calling me.  I reported this number to Chase and then filed a complaint with the Texas State Attorney General's office.  It is amazing to find out that this scam has been running this long without being shut down.  I IMPLORE EVERYONE TO CONTACT THE TEXAS STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE AT:  https://www.oag.state.tx.us/forms/cpd/form.php  <<<<<< AND FILE A COMPLAINT.

This number (and often 9502 or 9504) calls my CELL phone up to 10 times a day, even on Sundays and holidays! I REFUSE to let these @ssholes use up my cell phone minutes! I turn off the ringer at work so no one is disturbed by it, and I just don't answer it any other time when I see it come up. I am going to set the numbers to have their own ringtone so I know it's them and don't even bother to look anymore. It's really disgusting how these people can destroy our lives. I am going to report them to my cell company to see if they can block it.

I wanted to follow up on this issue- I just talked to rep there, he stated that since i am showing late on my account i will get calls from them. I am set up on payment arrangement plan at 12% interest fixed for the next 5 years to pay off my acct. I had to close my account after I missed a payment and they increased my interest rate from 9.5% to 29.99%... the new company has very strict rules don't miss your payment or you will pay... I started with Providian back in 2002, then it was bought out by Wamu now it is Chase Cards. I have had this account for almost 10 years and in those 10 years have never been deliquent. I guess that if you have good payment history and make more then minimum payment monthly it really doesn't matter - they don't give a damn about keeping the customer happy. They could have waived the interest rate -One time only- as a courtesy since I had an incredible payment history but noooooooooo they couldn't be that customer driven!!! How could they even think that this is giving them a good name right now... i guess they don't care since all the credit card company's have a bad name now and the government is getting involved with preventing rates from be raised.  Anyway if you get a call from them and you are on a payment plan- remember, you don't have to call them, they are just wanting you to pay more money. Good luck to all...

These people call me 2 or 3 times a day. I am not the person they are looking for, and I told them so. I have only had my number for 2 months. Now I just don't answer. The only reason I answered the first time is my son lives in Tenn, and that is the area code.

Just started to get calls from this number today so I decided to google it.  I do have CC's from Wamu and Chase so am not sure what they need, as I pay them on time.  This may be a scam on my book so I'm not going to answer it.  Any idea how to block it??

I've given them money towards my WAAAAY past due Chase account (once Providian, then WAMU)it went towards the balance, intrest, whatever.  My point is the calls stopped for a little while.

My plan is to let my life insurance pay this one off when I die.  The balance and intrest has gotten so bad, why even try any more?

My solution has been throw them a bone every couple months.  They only have my cell number and I have creted a silent ringtone for their number so it's not so anoying.

The only thing good about these peole is they speak english!!!
