I have been getting non stop calls from this company.  They ask for the owner and hang up before I can ask who they are.  I finally was able to catch one of the employees before he hung up, and got the name Certified Payment Processing, needless to say I have been reading all about the company and how terribly they treat their employees.  What a shame.  I'm going to tell them exactly what I think the next time they call wanting to speak with the "owner" of our business...

Ok I am a former employee of CPP/TMG.On this forum, I see a lot of comments on both sides of the isle. Instead of going to the extreme lets look at facts.

CPP/TMG is a legitimate company and they process billions of dollars in credit card transactions.

CPP/TMG uses a telemarketing staff (and yes telemarketers are annoying) to generate leads for potential clients. These telemarketers are sometimes vague and generally don't have much if any product knowlege. Why? because the purpose for having them in the company is simply to get a salesman in front of you.

CPP/TMG is not a scam. They have competitive rates and programs to other processing companies. Just like any other service company they can often, but not always save a business some money. Think about it like your cell phone provider. Sometimes Sprint has the lowest rates, Sometimes Verizion does. Some people switch to get the best rate. If you are a business owner, it may be to your advantage to hear them with an open mind, and compare them to your current service. If they can save you a little money, Great! if not turn them down. But recognize that these are real people trying to make a living. Stop trying to release dogs on them or sent them on wild goose chases. Treat them with the same respect that you expect from your potential clients

Just like with any company selling a product, some salesman lie in order to make a sale. This is not condoned or encouraged by CPP/TMG, but it does happen. Most salesman remain ethical but with any group of people (like a sales team) some will be less honorable than others.

Again, Reguardless of the flash and glamor of the salesperson, look at the overall dollars and cents. If switching makes sense to your business, the switch with confidence that this company is legit. If it doesn't save you, then don't be pressured into makeing a commitment.

I got a strange call from this number today.  They asked for the owner of my home business that failed 3 years ago.  So I wondered how current their info is.  The woman wanted to send someone to my house tomorrow to talk about credit card usage and overages.  The whole conversation was rushed and suspicious.  I told her that I didn't want to visit with them.  She began to get rude and pushy so I just told her no, I don't want you to come.  She rudely said goodbye and hung up.  I hope that no one falls for this scam.  Everything about the phone call felt wrong.

They actually showed up at my house, I work from home, the day after the phone call. The fellow was rude and actually threatening and he refused to leave even though I asked him at least 20 times to, "Please, leave. I don't want to do business with you." He even called me rude and standoffish! I never raised my voice to him but he started screaming at me after I said that I had googled his company after the odd phone call the day before. He screamed, "Everyone gets a few bad reviews!" and I answered, "We're talking about more than a few." It goes on and on. He was intimidating and screaming and refused to leave for nearly 20 minutes! After he left, I called the police and made them aware that he was in the area and being threatening and trespassing. They searched for him but evidently he'd hit the interstate right after leaving my house.

Please take a couple minutes and go to FCC.gov and fill out the complaint form against this number. I also find if I ask them to put us on their company do not call list and then remind them when they call back a few days later we should be on their DNC list the calls are not as ugly. If they continue to call, I tell them I have reported them to the FCC.

Got a call from them this morning.  They wanted to check for overages and shortages of checks and credit card transactions.  I reminded them that I had discontinued use of the equipments over two years ago and they hung up. I did not give them any information.   Also reported it to our local police.

They called the restaurant I work for.  A rude lady, "I need to speak to the owner please."  It sound like there was a lot going on in the background.  Also, when I spoke I could kind of her myself echoing back through my reciever.

So I asked the lady what co. she was with and she hung up. So if they call u dont answer if u do answer just tell em to F**k OFF.

Something about debit card scams. Woman on the phone spoke very fast with terrible reverb - I could myself talking. She did not ask for any info other than the address of the business, but it didn't feel right.  I don't accept credit cards. General weirdness and I will be reporting to the police.

Too bad I didn't see your note before I applied for a job here via Monster.  Thought it was weird that I applied for a job with TMG and got a call from CPP.  Before calling them back I put in the phone# they called me from 972-301-3700 and the # they left on my voicemail to call back 877-288-7556.  Glad I read all these posts before wasting my time "attempting" to work for them.  Thanks everyone!
