Telemarketer calling number on "do not call" list

I'm pretty sure you can call the phone company and register a complaint against the number that called you. You can also have the number blocked. If the same organization/scam calls again, then you can hold the phone company accountable and notify the Public Utilities Commission. Utility companies DO NOT like it when the PUC is on their a**.

This guy is a SCAM ARTIST!  Wish I would have looked into this more carefully before actually sending the $25.  He called around the hoildays and I was feeling generous.  Now he won't stop calling and is VERY rude when you talk and say what he doesn't want to hear.  The bastard has my work number - wish I had his home number/cell number - I would call non stop and pester the hell outta him!

My cordless phone has a "call block" feature, so it never rings but once, then the block kicks in.  Still, there's that one ring, which really gets to be annoying, especially since I sleep days and work nights.   Being on the DO NOT CALL registry is meaningless, apparently.  The number is unpublished, but  the phone company knows who they are.  Why can't they do something about it?

Call 7:25 S.A.I. - guy had loud music in back ground, asking me why I hadn't sent in my $20 donation from last year.  Reminded me over and over that it was not "tax deduct" and that another letter would be sent out. Said I could pay with credit/debit I bluntly told he we don't do credit after "Dave Ramsey", he was baffled as to who this was :) Then asked him if he was in a bar because of the music, nastily he turned it down, then asked if I could "promise" to send my money in.  You be buddy!!!!!  Did tell me he was in Garland - what a doof!

This was a very harassing call soliciting donations. The man was very pushy and said my donation was being recorded. This seems like a big scam to me.

These folks called for the 2nd time this week and when told they were speaking to the Nanny they said I want to talk to the homeowner...they were instructed the homeowners weren't home and the guy just hung up.

I got this call CID says SAI...my TN is registered with DO NOT CALL LIST

Continue to get calls from this number.  I never answer calls that I do not know.  I am listed on the DO NOT CALL LIST, but apparently that is a total waste of time based on all the calls  from many.  The government should do something constructive for a change and stop these people.

This phone number called my cell phone on 7/21/2009 at 8:30PM...my cell phone number is listed with the "Do Not Call" federal listing...if this phone number is a telemarketer, it is breaking the law!!!

Have received repeated calls from this number for the last three days.  The first was a solicitation for Tx State Troopers, which I declined.  Since then the same number has called repeatedly saying rude things, not speaking, breathing heavily, or hanging up.  I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST!

charities are exempt from the do not call list. If you are on the DNC list, I'm afraid the best thing to do is not answer (I've been on the national and state DNC registeries for 4 years in a few different states.)

This 'company' SAI should not be confused with SAI TSTA.  SAI is a scam apparently, the phone is a rental by a private person in Garland, TX.  They will either not give you a charity they work for, or say they work for the texas state troopers.  If you call back, thier mail box will be full.

Called this morning; hung up when I whistled the FAX tone into the phone.

they call day and night by computer call up.  then no one answers.  finally after weeks they answer and claim to be with state assoc. of troopers and will send brochures and envelopes for donations.  all frauds as per our local troopers.

they just hung up the phone as soon as i picked it. i am on both national do not call list and texas no call list. this s.a.i company has called me before to solicit donations to various charitable organizations.

This scam is asking for donations for Texas State Trooper's Association.  This firm is located in Denton,TX and has NO affiliation with the DPS, it is a huge boiler room.  Do not even bother to answer the phone.

Also got telephone call for solicitation for TX State Troopers [caller ID, S.A. I.]  I AM registered on Do not call list, guess they didn't pay any attention to that.  Read about that telemarketer co on another site, they give less than @ 20% of what you donate to them to the troopers [to allow them legally to run as fundraisers] and the rest they use to as their operating expense.
Give directly to your law enforcement, not through these people aka S.A.I

I have gotten a call from this number as well asking for donations to the State Troopers.I agreed sure I will donate. But informed the man on the phone that I was not sure at this time "howmuch" I had just lost my job. He said I had to promise at least 20$ . When I told him I donate every year,but Normally through My local offices when the opertunity arrises.He became as if I had offended him. Telling me why I should not do that. I eventually hung up on the person .. Called my local DPS office & they told me not to Donate through them.So I did not... A few months later I get a call again asking me where my donation was that I promised. When I told the man on the phone that I called my local DPS office and was advised against this donation. The man hung up on me. That was a Year ago...Today I am getting the calls again.

I recently connected my phone line just for faxes, and consistently receive calls from these people at all times of the day and night. I have not given my number out to anyone, and I believe it's ridiculous. I received a call from them at 7am, and as late as 10pm, I mean do they not have anything else to do except call every phone number known to man 24/7.

Get calls every now and then from this number. I don't ever answer my home phone anymore because of all of the professional panhandlers calls. My voice mail does not give out our name or number, it just says "leave a message". Ever since I've done this, my daily panhandler calls have gone down from 11-12 a day 2 years ago to about 1 - 2 a day now. Apparently, they delete a number after a certain number of consecutive "no answer" situations? Anyone know if this is true? Anyone ever work in one of these boiler rooms?

I spoke with the State troopers association .today They said they have had a number of complaints and some today regarding SAI. The person who can address the problem and remover you from their solicitation list works during the day.
