I live in texas and this number called me twice this morning, but left no messages? And it says it is a local number, local area code and all. weird..

I would like to block all calls to my cellular phone from the Salt Lake County Metro Jail from a robbie Lynn Robinson who has a federal hold on himI want this documented so if he calls my phone again he can get charged with another felony

Alot of people are saying this number is in Washington or NY but the area code is in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex.  How odd.

I swear some of the people posting here a f-ing retarded, this post is for you. It's not a scam, when my brother calls me from Oakland county jail here in MI this number shows up. When an inmate calls (from any correctional facility) it goes through a switchboard that shows that number no mater what state or city you're in, idiots!

This number calls me on my cell phone!  Collect call from Correctional institution!  Like I'd take that call.

We keep getting calls from 972-535-7795. It Caller ID's as Plano Tx, The message says it's an inmate from Washington State Corrections Facility. We know no one is the corrections system. This is a random scam by an inmate with too much access to the phone... The following info from below will help you stop these calls.

This number belongs to Global Tel Link which is a collect call service that is contracted with prisons so that inmates can make pre-paid calls. If this number is constantly calling you and you want it to stop, call Global Tel Link at 1-877-650-4249. Select the prompt that will allow you to talk to a live person and inform them that you want your number blocked so that you no longer receive calls from them. They will take down your number and put a block on it so that you will no longer receive calls that go through them. My complainant was also receiving unwanted calls from 972-535-7795 and 972-372-1105 which is also connected with Global Tel link. the area code 972 is from Texas and they have a call center in Dallas that inmate calls get routed through. The inmate could be calling from another state but it gets routed through their Texas call center so those 972 numbers show up on caller ID. When you have them block your number, these 972 calls should stop also. Hope this helps!

I missed a call from this number, but when they called back I answered it (I was curious to see who was in jail that was calling me).  It was actually someone that saw my resume on a job board and was calling to see if I was interested in a position with their company. I'm not, but thought I would share in case this helps someone else.

I got a call from this # saying it as a collect call from some correctional facility. I just disconnected. I do not know anyone in jail.

This call is a SCAM!  Trying to play on anyone who might know someone in a correctional facility, they convince you to "set up" an account...Right!  IT'S A SCAM!
