If Michelle Penna's associated to any of ya'lls phone calls.....BEWARE!! She's an attorney in Riverside County, CA, formerly in Orange, CA and she's as crooked and unethical, sneaky and underhanded in the worst ways possible and I wouldn't doubt she's involved in something like this as she deposited a counterfeit cashier check into her client trust account for $260,000.00 in Dec of 2011, she got immediate credit from the bank and told them to wire $259,000 to an account in japan a few days later the bank was notified the check was counterfeit, she's a shady bi***.

I just got a call and all it said was Carrollton, TX in the caller ID.  No message or phone number.  I didn't answer it.  I have not had an accident now or at any time ever.  I wonder why they called my number?

I just got a call from Michelle at 972-537-7731, who stated that she was looking for me because of the wreck I had last week.  The only thing that made me believe it was that my dad with the same name was involved in an accident last week.  I made the mistake of giving her my dad's cell.  After that I checked this site and found that it was a scam.  I immediately called my dad, but my stepmom told me that she had already spoken with this person prior to me getting this call.  Apparently, they are a company who files claims for individuals so they can get paid for it.  I hope this helps anyone trying to figure out what this call is about.  By no means is it an insurance company or anyone directly involved with any accident.

I received a call from this number from a woman named Michelle with the 'Accident Claims Services Divison'. She didn't give a company name. I was involved in an accident about six months ago. Based on the tone of her voice, I could tell she was not legitimate. Don't return her call.

Received a call from this number today - actually they called my Mother in Law and left name/# with her.  Stupidly, I called her back.  Her name was Michelle Penna.  She was asking about a car accident I was in, which I was several days ago.  A couple things led me to believe this is fishy - first, she gave the in law a different company name (A-1 Insurance) than she gave me (american collision).  Second, she was trying to pry information out of me like details of the accident, was I hurt, sore, etc, and where did I live.  Finally, she promised settlement money (in her words 2500-3000) for my accident.  Probably just ambulance chasers, but I would advise not calling them back because she now has my phone # along with my mother in law.

Received a call today from a Michelle from a claims department wanting to speak with me regarding an accident and if the other insurance company's adjuster has called to make an appointment with me.  She left the phone number 972-537-7731.  I called the number back, she answered the phone and asked me if anyone had called me back regarding an accident.  I asked her what accident.  She asked me if I had an accident in Dallas about two weeks ago.  I said no and then she said, I'm sorry I must have the wrong person and then hung up.

I got the same kind of call from the same person on my cell phone.  This is obviously something to turn in to the state and have her investigated.  There is definitely some kind of fraud going on here,

Someone named Michelle Kenna just called my cell phone and knew my first and last name. She said she was calling about a car accident I was in last week in Dallas. I was never in Dallas. I wonder what kind of scam this is.

She also left a message for me from the same #, and when I called back, she was ambiguous regarding the call, but offered $ for my accident, that was a bike gettig hit by a car, she didn't know that, but it was clear they were an ambulance chasing law firm that also had a massage clinic included.     I gave up.

Woman left a message on my cell and knew my name, claiming that I was in an accident and wanted to make sure the appraiser had been out.  I called the number back (by the way she is calling from a cell phone) she answered it as Michelle and I could hear other phones ringing in the background. So why would she be using her cell phone if she is in some sort of call center?  I would not give her my name since she had originally called me, I did give her the number that she called and informed her that I was not in an accident.  She claims that she must have the wrong number then.  Hopefully someone could shed some light on what the REAL story is behind this number.

My wife called me at work stating that she just received a call while she
was in the shower.  The female voice on the answering machine stated that
she was Michelle Pinto from the Claims Department of Accident Services Division. This of course being an obscure assertion to being associated with
no company in particular. Apparently she wanted to know if I had anyone come
out to inspect the damage on my vehicle yet? Again, a vague inquiry that
feels more like someone who might be on a "fishing expedition" to catch any confidential information that can be retrieved...for what purpose?  Who knows.
Personally, I would like to know if she happens to work for or on behalf of
Geico.  Is anyone, who is receiving calls from this "Michelle", currently engaged in any dealings with Geico?  Could be wrong; could be something else.

I did have a car accident last week. Yesterday I received a call from someone named Michelle (last name could have been Pinto; it was hard to make out), claiming she was from the Claims Department of the Accident Services Division (how generic can you get?!), and wanting to know whether an adjustor from the other driver's insurance company has contacted me yet to inspect my car. I won't be returning her call.

I also received a call from a Jennifer (calling from 800-819-2006), claiming to be from the Dallas Claims Assistance department. She said she would be helping me through the claims process and could answer any questions I have. When I googled the phone number, it turns out it's actually a San Antonio accident attorneys firm (a.k.a. ambulance chaser). Scary.

Got the call today from Michelle. Called back and she says she's representing a collision center in Carrolton who will "rebate" between $300 and $500 to you for using them after your insurance company has paid them. Don't know about the legality of this.

Then she offered a referral to an attorney if I had had a stiff neck, headache, etc....

Said no thanks, and hung up.

Received a voicemail from a Michelle today from the "claims department of accident services" asking for another family member his first name. She said she had a couple of questions for him about his accident. Although he had been in an accident recently, something didn't seem right about the call.  For one thing...how did she get MY cell phone number?  I did a reverse look up on the phone number she called from and found that it was a cell phone.  No one will be returning her call!

Received the same type of call Today, 12/22/2010... Talked about American Collision and also about Lawyer & Chiropractic & getting money back on car repair + other items... When I asked how they got my number... She said she found the number from car accident reports... She is even willing to drive far where we live from Carrollton...We were involved in a car accident only 2 days back i.e. on 12/20/2010 and I am yet to see the insurance adjusters, etc.... Not sure who is selling the info what... Talked to Farmers Branch Police department and looks like you can not purchase the report until you know the name and report number and they are not selling personal info to others...If any one taken the services from her, we like to know the entire experiences....It smells fishy and so thought to check out...Thanks... Same story for us.....there was an accident behind our home which damaged our fence.  She called my cell phone asking for my husband (who has a completely different wireless carrier) in regards to our accident in "Dallas", well we don't live in Dallas...I returned her call curious as to how she got our information when we haven't even reported it to the insurance company.  I asssume she got his name from the police report, as my husband spoke with the officer.  Then I guess she began her ambulance chasing to get my cell number.  Apparently it was a "bad connection" and she said she would call me back.  Fishy.....

They are scammers/ambulance chasers. I was in a severe auto accident last week, and a representative from this firm named Michelle contacted me. She knew my first and last name as well as my home number (where she called.) From her initial voicemail, she led me to believe she was a representative from my insurance company, Liberty Mutual. I returned her call after business hours expecting to just leave a message. When she answered, I was surprised. She claimed she was just working late. Upon calling her back, I became skeptical about her legitimacy when she dodged questions about her employer (not Liberty Mutual). She then tried to ask about the insurance adjustor's appraisal about my totaled car and if I was injured. She offered me law services and therapy rehabilitation services. She also claimed to have reviewed my Accident Report from the police department, when in fact I know this information has not been released yet, as my own insurance agent has not received this information. After I continued to question her, I suppose she knew I was catching on to her game, and she hung up on me. Looking at the caller ID, it was apparent that she had called from a personal cell phone. I tried calling her back for more answers, but she ignored my calls. Her voicemail was so ambiguous as she identified herself with the "Claims Department of Accident Services Division".....um..okay? With what company?! She is trying to fool us. I also Googled her telephone number and according to websites like http://whocallsme.com/ and http://800notes.com/, it appears Michelle has been in business since 2008 and everyone who left comments on there had the same stories as me. Michelle is a definite ambulance chaser trying to make money off my unfortunate traffic accident. Bery sketchy indeed. Proceed with caution.

We were involved in an accident and received a call from her also. She gave us American Collision and the BBS rating. I looked it up and there is an American Collision & Restoration in Carrolton Tx:
http://www.bbb.org/dallas/business-reviews/au ... 001527#adreview

I'm unsure at this time if they are one in the same though. She also said they have attorneys and chiropractors on staff.

I just got a call from this same number.  Didn't answer it because I didn't know the number.  The same Michelle Pena refered to below left me a message about a car accident I was in last week.  I wasn't in a car accident but she had my first and last name.  This is very concerning to me.  Does anyone know if these calls can be reported to someone?

I got a call from Michelle at this number on my alternate Sprint cell phone.  Don't know how they got that number.  I called Michelle back and she said that they were investigating an auto accident that someone with my name was involved in.  They did not have any info for the claim other than a name, so they were calling all of the people with my name to find out who that person was.  She asked me if I had been involved in a car accident in the last couple of weeks.  I told her "NO", and she said "thank you, sorry for bothering you".  I have not heard from them again.
