Chris Plunkett and his team are at it again with a newly formed company: Liberty Redevelopment Group. Same scam under different name.

The call was from Austin and he said he had a development project and needed my help. He wanted me to call him back at 972-607-4300 x 239.  I called and got a recorded message saying I had called Giant.

We got a call from Bob Malone from 972-607-4300 x 214 who said he was with a development company in Dallas and wants to send an investment packet to my boss. Sounds like a scam to me.

I worked for them for a little while. I could tell it was a scam from the start. They talked a good game, and did have some good people working there, but a scam none the less.

I would like to thank all the companies with automated answering machines. You allowed me to get enough dials in a day without having to actually bother any of you! And I still got paychecks at the end of the week! :-)

I know the president personally.....It is a scam and it's finally caught up to him.....there are lawsuits filed on him and the company. It is a SCAM- don't get caught up.

Just received a call from Jeff Vernon needing to talk to our President and asking for him by his first name.  NOT... I told him to give me his info and if my boss wanted then I would pass on the info and he asked for his name several times and then he said well since I don't know who will be calling then just forget... Hopefully, he won't be calling back... Very rude Company.

Received a call from a Mr. Steve Wheeler from a Giant Operating Company in Dallas, Texas (972-607-4300 x229). Did not return call. Sounded like a sales call or something.

my phone gal gave me this message this morning, guy name is Ed Gasser ext. 226 same deal as all above same # just a bull s*** deal!!!!

Just received a call from Milkis or some such.... didn't take me long to find this website... I wonder how many calls they make to "investors" if this many take the time to post a note?

Received message from Steve Wheeler with Giant Operating (972-607-4300 xtn 229) regarding a "Joint Venture Project". It sounds like another scam. I visited your site and found many other similar calls from the same company.

If you read that article, it sounds like a bogus charge from a business deal that went sour.  I think you probably should check and see how the pending litigation has turned out before you make a decision.  Oil and Gas can be very lucrative, look at all the Oil companies, they havent filed BK at all!  lol...  Oil and Gas exploration projects have been around for years and the technology has gotten better, which means less dry holes etc...  Yes I am in the Oil business and Yes it pays well!

I received a call today for the Owner of our company (had his name correct) from Steve Wheeler of Giant Operating.  I asked him if the owner would now what this was regarding.  He said no, a business opportunity. He left his phone number 972-607-4300 ext 229.  I could tell it was a bs call - because we get them alot.

Call this morning for my boss (using his given name, not the nickname everyone else uses), from Bill Malone who said he was the V.P. of Giant Operating in Dallas.  Asked to have my boss call him back at (972) 607-4300, extension 214.  No other information or message.  Suspicious - even telemarketers usually say more than that on their first call!  Googled the number - my boss doesn't have ANY investments! How did they get our number?

Chris called asking for my boss by name. I told him he was not in the office but I would be happy to take a message. He gave his number at ext. 248. I will give the boss the message and if he is in the mood he will call Chris back. (Sometimes the bossman likes to yank peoples chains and can tell a phoney when he hears one) :-)  I almost feel sorry for Chris! Hee, hee

Received a call from Cody at Giant Operating, says he has done business with us before but that is a false statement as we never have.

These people never give it up.  They call and call and call hoping to get a dime.  

Checked around and guess who's name still keeps getting associated with these weasels....Wesley Harris.  Says he is the owner, but I think he is the caller calling himself Kirk and Chris.  I hope someone gets these guys soon.  Don't invest!    

Boss will never get a call from these guys from me.  Never!

The just called us, too, only his first name in now Kirk.  He said that he had some joint venture opportunity of some sort.  After about 45 seconds of being on hold, he hung up.  Sounded like a scam!  GFY, Kirk!

They just called here asking for the owner of our company (by name). I told them he was out of the office and offered to allow them to leave a voice mail, but silly me... I forgot to press the "voicemail" button on our phone.

Cold caller, but I vaguely remember them calling a few months back regarding this same thing.

Be wary, they may be trying to mask their Caller ID info. It only came up as "Texas" for me when I answered.

Received a call on May 28th, 2009 from Steve Wheaton 973-607-4300 x 229 - Giant Operating wanting to speak to the President of the company stating that the President had an interest in what he may have - vague NO NO NO  NOT INTERESTED EVER

Was thinking of investing with Giant, but came across this while doing research.  Can you tell me where you are now in getting satisfaction from this company??  Can not afford to lose my money!!

Received a call asking for my boss from an Austin Montgomery saying it was regarding a joint venture prospect. Unfortunately for him, I am on to their game & my boss will not even see this message. Just doing my job.
