11:30 am to the landline. CID shows phone number only, no company name. I hit the talk button but just listen. I can hear many voices in the background. Say hello, some sweet little girl launches into spiel about a free wireless home security system. I tell her I get a call a week offering the same deal, and this must be the scam of the month.
She wants to send me to a specialist to explain the deal. Must be how they get paid. I say NO, just take my number off your call list, she said OK. But it won't happen.

Called my WORK number indicating they were in the area for HOME security.

They call and a woman says it's home protection and I hang up I got protection my dogs and myself nobody is gonna break in here just scammers wanting money

Did not answer and no message was left on answering service.  Our number is registered with the Do Not Call.

Margo,   why don't you go to the FTC   site and read about the National Do Not Call Registry.   It will answer many of your questions and also let you know why it was created,  its sole intended purpose when created,  and why does not do what you and many others thinks it is supposed to be doing.

There is no such thing as a Do Not Call Registry for Scam companies.   The National Do not Call Registry is an honor bound agreement that Legitimate businesses who are Registered with the FTC's  Do not Call Registry  will not call those who are registered on that list.    IT IS A LIST!  Nothing more.  Scammers or any other Scofflaw can call your number and there is not a thing in the world that which the Do Not Call Registry is accountable.

Why is this stupid security system company calling from TX to the east coast?  Dumb.  I answered and then a male said to hold for a representative...when she answered I hung up and will not answer the call again.

The "free" security system is only $30 a month.   Big racket!  Seems like I have quit getting these calls since I pretend I cannot speak English.  I have had a lot of fun doing this.  For example:

"FREE?   Si, Senoir!  Please send today!!!!!   YES, YES!!!! FREE!!! YES YES!!!"

Crazy person call me on the phone, but I didn't answer . Thanks for letting me know it is a security system. I have been harassed by security systems . yes I do have many of those. 3 dogs  that loves to bite humans , police officers with guns. If none of the. above works shoot their balls off with your guns if someone breaks in .

I keep getting this unwanted calls. I want them to stop

First off, the DNC list only protects you from legitimate businesses. Political and charitable organizations still have the right to call you, even if you are on the DNC list. Scammers are, unfortunately,  criminals and therefore exempt from legitimate restrictions. Most of them use cell phones, which they constantly replace. They may be using sophisticated random auto dialing equipment, although there is no certainty of that. Many of these calls target seniors, in the  hope of getting credit card and bank information. I am convinced, therefore, that some, if not all of these illegal operations are using lists of individuals that are Social Security recipients or members of organizations for seniors. The coincidences are simply to great to explain otherwise. Some of these calls also  come from scam call operations outside the USA, which makes it very difficult for the various US government agencies, national or state, to shut them down. Under no circumstances should  you ever answer a call from one of these scammers. If you do not have Caller ID, make the investment. It is worth it, believe me. Finally, many--probably most--of these scammers use spoofing companies to show fraudulent and false telephone numbers. A law to stop this practice did not make it through Congress. Write your senator or representative and ask him/her to push for legislation to restrict, or stop, spoofing, and to make it a crime to commit fraud by scamming operators.

Looks like they found me yet again, I swear these guys are relentless, tried blocking them does not work. I hope the azzhole thats doing this gets strung up by his balls.

I get the same call from different are codes, but most of the last four numbers are the same or almost the same. I have a call blocker that will block 1600 numbers. I just add the new one each time.

I got a call from (718)737-7162 yesterday and today for the security thing. Received another call about an hour ago from (972)656-4332. I didn't answer. I'm not sure if it's telemarketing or something else. It seems suspicious.

Its ridiculous, have called me 3x in the last 2hrs... leave me alone!!!

This number claims to be a home protection company and repeatedly calls me. I want it to STOP!

No answer, no message. Calls several times/day.

They must have found my number yesterday and called me 8 times. Each time it went to voice mail with no message. I even tried to answer to tell them DON'T EVER CALL ME AGAIN!! They don't even answer
