Got a call from this number and a woman named Cheryl Adams from 972-715-3239, said she was a locator for the county.  Did not say what county or what it was about.  All she said is there is a summons pending and to call 480-499-0363.  When I asked for more information she just said to call that number and gave a case number.  Sounds bogus to me.  I had previously received similar calls from a different number about a year ago stating a pending lawsuit and if it were really a lawsuit, they would have already served me or Would have given some attorney info instead of this type of phone call.

I have been getting these bogus calls for over a year now.  I am still waiting for this person or whatever
to show up at my house.  It is the same script read each time.  The person cannot read very well
and the same name, Ms. White. with the same threats.  My lawyer will love to talk to you.  So whatever.

Mr. Alexander has a civil summons for a supposed relative that might live here. Needs to serve her in the next hour or so. Call back number was 713-588-2594. He was polite enough, but I still don't want to be dragged into something a supposed relative might have issues with... like I would hand over information on a relative. Really!?

Got the same message as everyone else read very quickly and as if from a script - full of scare tactics. Called back. Talked to Mr. Davis who refused to identify who Burks & Myers was, where they were located or who they represented. No website or available information. Pay them nothing. Obviously a scam.

Received call for an employee. Asked if this is a personal business call, he said yes. Told the guy he would need to reach her at home, he started laughing and said "you're not Laurie are you".  NO Jerk!  I'm a person doing my job and get tired of getting these scam calls every week.  These Jerks need to get a real job and quit wasting my time.

Have been getting exact same messages, was told they were comming to my home today infact.
If you call back 972-715-3239  no answer but  713-588-2614 & 888-679-4311 say they are the information center for Burkes & Myers. They will not give an address they never send any leagal documentation through the US mail & when they say they will email you something they never do.

I have been getting the same calls. I asked for an address and she hung up on me. Today I received a recording. Has anyone checked to see if this may be a legal matter?

I got the same thing. I even called back and they said I had to make a payment today for half and they won t pursue the charges.

Got a call from 888-679-4311 and they left a message: "We are contacting you from the civil service and processing division, calling to notify you that there will be 2 charges filed against you in your county. Looks like there's been some type of fraudalent activity attached to your name and SSN. I do need to make you aware of your legal right to address your charges prior to them being filed against you. You will need to do so before receiving your summons at your place of employment or your home address. Once you are served, your right will be forfeited. Your case number is <femal computer voice>******, Their telephone number is <female computer voice> 888-679-4311. You will need to speak to someone in the legal department." when receiving any call I don't recognize I do an internet search. I hope everyone does the same thing. This is obviously a scam and lots of people have fallen for it, paying hundreds of dollars to have these "attorneys" help them out with the fraudalent charges.

I get a call from these people everyday! Is there anything we can do to stop them from calling, this is getting soooo annoying!

Still getting calls....now from Chloe white. Reading from a script(badly, might I add).  I can still settle with the plaintiff outside of court, blah,blah,blah

I got the same call.   Who knows..  Collection agencies are buying up old debt and coming out of the woodwork like cockroaches.    I think scare tactics like this are illegal.

Received a call yesterday, 5/8/12. The woman said she was calling from Civil Summons Dept. and I was called because I was a neighbor of Phillip Reynolds. I told her I didn't know anybody by that name and she ended the call.

I received the EXACT same call as you yesterday for two "charges" pending against me. For what, I have no clue, and have not committed any crime of any sort, monitarily or otherwise. I HATE getting harrassing phone calls like these!

Got a voicemail from Lisa brown stating that I was going to be charged with two counts of fraud in my county. She mentioned that I would be served at home or work. Mentioned an old address.  A few days later called again and said that if I did not call a different number  I would forfeit my legal rights once served.  Got a third call stating that they had been unsuccessful serving me and would pursue me further. Ended the call all three times with a "good luck"

I got the same call about 9AM this morning. A voice mail was left as well. The caller was speaking about a civil summons . She stated that she was calling from the state of Texas Civil Summons Department.

i got the same call and the vm that they left was for a civil summons of some sort. Who really knows?
