They just called and LEFT A MESSAGE (which is illegal) I have not owed them in almost a year.......the lady told me I had 3 accounts and all were paid in full and she didn't understand why I was upset.........

These people continuously call and harass me. I have talked to so called supervisors a billion times. I have told them I have no income. I a waiting on disability court date. I have told them when I get paid, they will get paid. They call from different numbers. So now I just save all the numbers to "DNA" AKA DO NOT ANSWER. ROFL... I wonder how they like my voicemail? I will pay my debts off when disability pays me. I did not ask to get hurt and sick. I did not ask not to be able to work. SO get the hell off my a** people. That is what I should tell them. RSA are HARassers.

And how did that work for you?  Tried twice to do that, to no avail.  Don't answer at all.  The calls to my new cell phone and acct, started 20 mins after activation...can u believe it? I do know the girl who had my number is from east texas, marshall, health related career or schooling, family in e. texas, black, AND some guy still loves her and sent a txt splainin all that...geesh...i only txtd back friends and family- and the guy- to let them know she was no longer at this number, and they got the message.  Oh, and Walgreen's txt a refill notification the other day.  SO, it isn't for me, so I am not answering...

Not one's fault if it isn't their debt...ie wrong number...don't assume it makes...never mind.

I changed phone services about a year & 1/2 ago & quickly found out why the last person dumped it. I'm getting tired of blocking these numbers so I've started answering them sometimes. I am not Eve Taylor & I have never used Baylor Medical Center.

I got a call tonite & after the caller (not a robocall for a change) realized I really am not who they wanted, I was told my number would be removed from her account. Unfortunately I did not get the caller's name.

For those who expect me to pay someone else's bill just because I got their old phone number, ummm  nope.

I realize that debt collectors must get a lot of people saying "wrong number", but at least sometimes, it really is!  Is there some shortcut to get debt collectors to realize this?  Please tell me what that is. Especially with robo-calls.
I will now wait & see whether these calls stop. From what I see on this site, not likely, but I'll hope.

Recovery Services called our house at 10:19 a.m. on Sunday, April 22. They have a recorded message that offers a choice of pressing 0 to talk to an operator, but when you do, it says no one is there and asks you to call them back at another number. Debt collection on Sunday violates the FCRA rules for collection agents and is considered an abusive practice.

We are not behind on any bills, nor have we ever been treated by Baylor Medical Center, yet still they call.

"Pay your bills," another poster here (likely from Recovery Services, if I were a betting person), you should be ashamed of yourself!

1. First, you can't spell - you put "YOU'RE" where it should have read "YOUR."
2. Second, in the United States, we have a little thing called the "Bill of Rights." The 5th, 6th, and 14th  Amendments create the presumption of innocence (until proven guilty), but the 5th guarantees that citizens will not be deprived of life, liberty, or property...without a trial."
3. Third, you make it sound like if everyone just paid their bills, that we would never get these calls. You are wrong! There are some of us who DO pay our bills but MAY have names similar to those who do NOT pay theirs, for whatever the reason. So, rather than Recovery Services making an effort to make certain they are calling the correct person, they don't.
4. Finally, realize that with an incredibly high rate of unemployment and runaway inflation, most of the citizens of our country are two paychecks away from being homeless and unable to pay our bills, and there are laws that were written and signed into law to protect us from abusive or inaccurate debt collection companies like Recovery Services (and others).

Turn these people in!

I had a call very early this morning again.  The caller ID said RSA with the number 972-759-0888.  The girl asked for someone and I said that person did not live here, then I said why would you call so early  and wake me up?  She said (and she changed her voice to be like a child mocking me) "So I could ask if Randall was there".  At that point I just hung up.  I want this stopped this RSA has called me over and over and I am tired of it.  I don't know who she thinks she is calling but I don't know the person.  We are Senior Citizens and have a no call number.  Surely something can be done!!!!

If they call in Texas before 8 a.m. then YES they are calling illegally.
They also have to identify themselves.
In either case they can be sued for both illegalities comitted and have a formal complaint filed with the Attorney General of Texas.

Many have filed already and it's a matter of time before they get shut down!
They are usually calling on behalf of Baylor Medical Center of Dallas although they have a few other clients but most that have used them stop when notified about their illegal activities!

They have been calling me ever since I got a "new" cell phone looking for the individual who had the number before me. That was nearly 3 years ago. Tried answering may times hoping to get a human and explain that I am not who they are looking for, but always get the recording saying to "call back during business hours". Even during business hours you still get the recording. How many more years will pass before they give up?

I have received numerous calls over an extended period of time. I can't understand the name they are asking for. It is not close to anyone's name who has this phone number. I have had calls up to 7 times in one hour. I have never been able to talk to a person even though they say push 0 to talk to a rep. I am sick of these people whoever they are!

My cell identified the caller as Flu Shots of Texas but according to what I have read in previous post it might just be a debt collector and is using a fake caller id name to get better results to have someone answer the phone,. If I don't know who the caller is, I don't answer.

calling constantly. just recording for some woman. I have had this number for almost 2 years and they have called nine time in 10 days. time to do something about it.

Call the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and your State Police. When they call back, tell them that you are aware they are running an extortion ring, have notified the authorities and hang up.

We have gotten two of these calls, on Sept. 29 and Oct 2, 2011,  when not at home. There is a message on the ans. machine that says to dial "0" to talk to someone. We have no debts from Texas, or anywhere else for that matter.

been calling for 18 months. Got the number with the new phone. Ignore, but the calls come in and bot answers. They don't care. Can't see how they can collect a dime, never a real person. Wouldn't send them a penny, couldn't trust they apply it.

Notify me of who this is @ 9038185858. Seems like a scam. Any more use of my number from this number, I have been advised by my attorney to file a grievance. The number who called was 9727590888. I have no business with them.

They don't just collect for Baylor, they collect for any type of medical issue. I keep getting a call saying I owe a bill for Hillcrest Anesthesia in Sherman, Tx. I haven't had any anesthesia in over 10 years. Stop calling me!!!! Guess I'll change my phone number!

Multiple calls daily, starting around 8am. I thought collectors were restricted to the hours between 9am and 9pm, RECEIPIENT TIME!  Recording muffles the name, similar to a relative who has never been to Baylor Medical Center. We live several counties away. Can this really be stopped?

i don't have any idea who these people are and why they are calling my cell phone. i just got this phone a few days ago.

someone called and asked for maria, bill collectors or someone sniffing.  I have had this number for years and do not owe anyone a dime.

I get calls from this number constantly.  It return an automatic voice message.  These calls are unwelcome and annoying.  Please make them stop.
