Indian sounding male calling numerous times saying we owe money. Claims to be from the Dept of Law Enforcement.

I got the same call also. I have done some research and people say it is a scam. He told me I was being taken to court for a loan.

He was an Indian sounding gentlemen and said that he was a lawyer named Mark William and that a lawsuit was against me and that my lawyer should contact him in one hour.  He called med at work and wanted my some personal information and to speak with my supervisor.

This is a scam.  This outfit is mentioned on the State of Colorado Attorney General's web page.  The "officer" should possibly take english lessons.

He called me 24 times today alone threatening me sexually saying I want him and all kinds of crazy stuff. My local law enforcement can't do much but I'm being harrassed and I have to pay 5.99 a month to block his # or 35 to change mine I didn't do anything and this is bull.Before he turned into a pervert he tried getting my information.

I'm getting calls from 972-773-3445 telling me he is from dept of law and investigation and a legal case is open on my name and that if I or my attorney do not return his call, I face legal consequences and that I am running from his calls.  I'd tell you his name, but I cannot understand it because there is so much background noise and the call quality is so poor.  Will this ever stop?  This is the second series of calls! in the past few months. (sorry for the major run-on sentence)

This morning I have received already 3 calls from a John Porter, Alan Taylor & Daniel Lincoln and some fella who had trouble pronouncing his own name.  Their phone numbers were as follows 607-231-9098, 972-773-3445, 817-962-6030, and 585-231-8544 ext 9191 respectively.

This started last week. and has been going on daily since. These guys have info. on me of  last  four of my social security #,  cell phone, business phone, personal address. One of them even called my office phone. They know my company's email name. Guessing they got this some how... They threaten with "bench-warrants, case #'s, Legal names, and means of being able to help you settle the matter. They won't provide much info. to contact them back. if you ask them for dates of funds deposits, loan #'s, or specifics of the debt they get belligerent and tight-lipped. Scare tatics each time.
All, state, I owe an unpaid "payday" loan with CashAdvance USA... one of them said they tried to withdraw funds last week... liars!
I've Googled all of these numbers, with the same result as on this page. Very annoying...

I received a phone call from this number from a man claiming to be Officer Anderson stating that it was a legal matter and I was being sued for fraud.  He said I was to answer specific questions and when I turned the tables and started grilling him he got confused.  It should be noted he had a very thick accent and would not identify where he was calling from.

said he was an officer of the law left same # to call back. I figure it is a scam.
I did not call back if i get another call I will block it.

Person staging as officer david jones keeps harassing me on my cell

I got 7 calls from this number today at my place of employment. Each time I picked up, no one answered. I called back, and an Indian guy answered the phone. I asked him why someone would call 7 times and not say anything, and he immediately hung up. I called right back and it went to voice mail! Total scam artist....

He changed his name to "officer Austin"! do not respond to the scammers, real officers do not call you at home or take upon themselves to collect for accidents, debts or anything of the sort.

Received call at work for an employee. Same deal. Heavy accent. With "the Federal Government" regarding financial a financial matter.  Googled # and found this site and postings. Spoke to employee - he has been getting calls on his personal cell phone as well.

This person keeps terrorizing me--calling my job and saying I owe money.  It is a scam and everyone should beware.

this person staging as  "David Jones" phoned my office, asking to speak to me.  He claimed to be an officer, needing to speak to me about a legal matter.  My assistant said he had a very "thick accent"  I recently had similar phone calls from men, with thick accents, claiming to be attorneys and demanding I pay a bill, which I had already taken care of.  As per my attorney's suggestion, I changed my phone number.  They seem have some how located my work number.  I phoned the number the 'officer' left, and it went straight into voice mail.  I then googled the number and it was listed under "indian cell numbers".  I have been informed of scammers, from India, claiming to be associated with the law in some way, scaring people into sending them money for 'uncollected debt'.  this is very scary.  i do wish there could be something done about this.
