The call is from a legitimate business venture. You get paid up to $200 for a few hours of taking a survey. They do appear professional as well. Had to hang up though. Got the call during a class lecture.

The company calling is Fieldwork Dallas and they are a reputable company. You are called to see if you qualify for one of their focus groups. If you do qualify, you are paid for participating in the focus group. Most of the time you are paid cash immediately afterward (before you leave). Most of the focus studies pay between $100 - $200. I have participated several times.

This is legitimate company as few of people already mentioned and they are a marketing research company. They will not call you unless you are referred by someone and signed up with them to receive surveys/studies. They usually do their study in focus groups and the pay is $50-$200 depending on who is the client and time. This is one of the company that respects privacy. Hopes this helps.

This place is legitimate. If you qualify and you go in for a market research focus group, you get paid cash money. One time I got like $200 for 2.5 hours. It all depends on who their customer is. They do not call your number unless someone from your number solicits them.

Fieldwork Dallas called me at my business # and they hung up when I answered "Travel Dept." I have spoken to them before about another survey so I have a feeling they misdialed my # accidentally.

I have done work with Fieldworks and it has been great. I get a call about twice a month to be on a panel. They limit you on how ofter you can participate. Somehow, if you didn't register, a fiend may have given your name and number. If you don't want to be bothered, let them know to take you off of the call list. Some discussions are done during the day and some are in the evening. I would suggest taking the call and see if you qualify for the panel they are trying to fill. It is interesting and you meet all sorts of folks.

This is a legitimate business. I have done focus groups and taste tests for them for many years, so have many others in my family. Easy quick $$.!!!
Some of you must've been referred to them for them to have called.

Count me in on the positive sentiment. VERY nice way to make extra cash. I've done car test drives, beverage studies, internet focus groups, etc. They don't ask for identity-threatening information over the phone. Mostly just unthreatening questions like: "Do you use high-speed internet? How often do you use the internet? Have you heard ofthe following internet companies?" If you match a specific profile that they are looking for, you're invited to their offices in Addison, TX for 1-2 hours, whereupon you are given cold hard cash upon your departure. I've even shown up at their office for a focus group discussion and have been told that the client cancelled the meeting due to low attendance - AND I STILL GOT PAID.
They generally call their list of contacts until they have enough people for a full focus group. I've had them call me a couple times in a day if they are having trouble getting enough people to attend.

I'm going to echo what is mentioned above. Calls from this number are not solicitation, they are from the Fieldwork Dallas group, and they conduct surveys and pay you cash for your time. You will only be called by Fieldwork Dallas if you sign up to be called. They do not do any cold calling. A friend of mine has made several hundred dollars every couple of months by speaking with these people, qualifying for the groups, and then participating.
It's a really nice way to make an extra $50-$150 in cash in an hour or so. The qualification questions usually don't take more than 5 minutes. I highly encourage that you take these phone calls if you can use some extra cash! Plus, I work on the phones in my line of business, and so a nice person on the other end is always good to hear, and the people with Fieldwork Dallas are always so nice.

Is 100% legit. Is a focus group. I have spoken to them often, qualified several times, attended twice and been compensated.

This is not a telemarketing call. This is an independent marketing firm that obtained your information voluntarily (maybe if you've ever signed up to get paid to do surveys?). They are legit. People make me laugh about this Do Not Call registry. They think any and every call is not allowed to go through on their phone but forget that if you've ever entered your phone number online anywhere unprotected that you are just asking for it.

Calling me wanting to know if I would like to participate in a focus group and get paid for it. This is my cell phone and I don't appreciate anyone calling me on it without my permission. I did put my number on the No-Call list but that doesn't seem to matter

The call is from Field Work Dallas. I have been on their list for years. Thet are an independent company who get approached by many top brand fims such as Pepsi, Hershey's, Coca Cola, Blockbuster etc... to get people to take part in focus groups to get unbiased opinions on new marketing ideas, promotions, new products etc... You go along and give your opinion and get paid cold hard cash for the privilege. There's no catches. There's no-one trying to sell you anything, you're just there for them to get ideas from an unbiased source.
My wife recently took park in a Blockbuster campaign and was asked to give her opinion on three adverts of which one would be used to pass on info to customers. She was supposed to be there for an hour, but was done in 20 minutes and got paid $150

My call from this number was a male telling me that because I did my taxes at H&R Block, I can get paid $100 if I answer a few opinionated questions. I declined and he thanked me for my time.

Called, didn't leave message. Have called before, asked a couple of quick qualification questions to see if you qualify to attend a targeted marketing participation group. I didn't.
